Dorman 905-102 Automatic Transmission Shift Tube Compatible with Select Ford / Lincoln / Mercury Models

Works perfectly on my 2002 f350 super duty 7.3. The job took about 2 hrs from start to finish. I recomend pulling the 4 bolts out of the fuse box panel to the left of the column and letting it free hang. By doing that it allows the steering column to drop down a bit further which is nessicary to access the 7 torx screws(size t30) on top of the column that will need to be removed. My original shifter tube had about 2" of play in it and this part took all of that play out. I'm definitely one happy guy. Time will tell on the quality of the part but it seems to be up to factory standards by look and feel of it. I also bought the dorman stamped steel shift tube clamps(part number 905-110). They are much better quality than the factory pot metal ones, and they come with extra bushings if the need to replace ever comes again depending on your shifting style.

I ordered this hoping it would fix my issue on my 2000 f350, and it DID 😊😊😊 so beyond happy that I no longer have a sloppy shifter, everything is nice and tight, took about an hour to install, if u have a loose feeling sloppy shifter I'd almost guarantee this part is your problem,....replace it and it'll feel like a new truck. Definitely happy and recommend

Fits and functions for a 03 F250, the original pins will not fit on to it, I'd buy new pins. I Didn't so heated part with torch and used a 10lbs hand sledge. Didn’t crack the part so is sturdy enough for that. Overall worked good just some frustration with the pins. If the pinholes were casted or drilled like a couple hairs wider would be ideal.

Ajusta bien

The outer part I used but not the inner. The original inner shaft was made of steel and is a nice quality. The Dorman one is aluminum and of very poor quality. Typical made in China stuff!

Delivered quickly and has been a get economical replacement.

Love the fact that this part is readily available without having to replace the whole column. Used columns run around $250. Great just to replace this part instead. Works great. Thnx!
