I installed this on my Trailmaster trailer a few months ago and found it very easy to install.  It is very nice to have the backup light circuit on my Explorer stop the surge brakes from working on my boat trailer when backing up.  Other wise before backing up I would have to stop the truck run around to the hitch and put a pin in to keep the brakes from engaging while backing up.
