love my soup pot. just the right size for 2

So good for cooking and super cute because of the size.

I love the pot, but unfortunately it didn't last for too long, we were very careful when using it, but now it has a crack on the ouside, and I am afraid to use it again since it could break while cooking on it.

This is the right size pot for making a small amount of soup - like that you can see what you’re cooking.

Antes de usarlas la primera vez observe unas rayitas en los lados que al pasar los dedos por dentro no se percibía nada, pero por fuera si se siente que el material tiene un inicio de astillar. Conclusión: A pocos días de probar la olla "Visión France" usándola en estufa de gas a fuego bajo y sin exponerla a cambios de temperatura se les fueron agregando mas rayas de quiebre hacia los lados pero son perceptibles por fuera, hasta que finalmente se le hizo una astilla en el fondo y al pasar los dedos es perceptible por dentro, lo que la convierte en un material peligroso para cocinar. Es peligroso cocinar en la olla que recibí, no la podre usar para nada. Es una pena que la calidad del material no es lo que esperaba, pues hice la compra con mucha ilusión y expectativas de que funcionara, a pesar de que le dí un uso muy delicado, no cumple con la descripción. En principio el fondo me parecía bien porque no quema los alimentos, pero el material del fondo se le coloco una raya de inicio de astillarse, no es una olla segura.

Being a small vessel, it doesn’t take long for it to warm up using very little energy (medium-low on an electric range). Once contents have reached an initial boil or simmer, keeping heat on at bare minimum is all that’s needed. It retains heat extremely well once off the stove, too. As a serving vessel, food stays consistently hot at the table down to the last spoonful (you’ll definitely need a nonmetal trivet). Best for fluid-heavy dishes only such as soup, beans and braises. I only use silicone utensils on it to keep from scratching. Love this!

Sehr gutes Produkt - das ist jetzt mein 3.Topf ( verschiedene Größen ) - benutze Gasherd hält und vor allem ein Kochen ohne das das Lenensmittel Schadstoffe erhält. Optik macht auch Spaß zu sehen, wie weit die Lebensmittel gar sind. Beim Abwaschen gehen die Rückstände vom Zubereiten leichter ab.

Really good on the hob. Need the bigger size next time

I bought this to replace a similar thing that my young lodger at the time used to try and cook something on a hob ring and it exploded. These things are oven proof, but NOT hob proof, as my lodger found out. Used properly, it's a good capacity, good value pot that's easy to keep clean, even if food becomes virtually welded to it in the oven. A good soak followed by a scrub with a scotchbrite pad and washing up liquid brings all the stuck stuff off, and a run through the dishwasher brings it back to sparklingly good condition again.

The pot is very nice, but for me it has 2 flaws. It says it works on ceramic hobs, which I thought included induction hobs, but it does not of course and if I thought about it logically I would have known that. The plastic lid for storage does not fit properly and I would have to wrap it in cling film if I put it in the freezer which I have not yet done. Having said all that, I like the size of this pot, the fact that it is glass and light (not heavy like the 'Creuset' dishes are, and of course its colour, so I am keeping it.
