Does it leave your lashes soft?

Depending on how much you put on your lashes, it leaves them relatively soft. Would recommend NOT getting the waterproof, because the waterproof takes 17 years and a lot of frustration to take off.

You could try using a mascara that forms tunes around lashes, such as L'Oréal Double Extend (Beauty Tubes Mascara). It very nicely solves the problem of under eye smudges.

It really is a good mascara! It doesn't clump and really defines and makes them look long.

I have greasy skin. does this product smudges and smears especially in the summer time?
