I am so glad I bought both colors because I LOVE THESE SHOES! I am on my feet all day and these shoes were so comfortable! In fact, I have worn out my first pair of navy and black and so have recently reordered both colors. That is how much I liked them! :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty & comfortable ballet flats *by K***N on September 22, 2017* Very comfortable black fabric-covered flats that paired well as "dressy" shoes with silky pants as well as with knee-length black dresses during a recent river cruise. After reading reviews, I went up half a size and bought size 7.5 C/D, and the shoes fit my wide feet perfectly right out of the box--no break-in time needed. Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step Hidden Arch Support for Flats, bought at the same time from amazon, made these shoes even more comfortable; but I also wore the flats for short periods without the arch supports and experienced no discomfort. These pretty ballet flats fit the bill for what the cruise line called "elegant casual" dress for dinners and evening concerts & talks; and after all-day excursions in really good walking shoes, my feet felt just as good in these shoes.I don't plan to wear these flats daily or for long distances. Since I'm more used to wearing 3" heels & heeled boots, and rarely wear my only other pair of flats (and I don't own any sneakers), I couldn't recommend these shoes for anything other than what I've described above. But someone who is used to wearing flats might be able to wear these all day.I like these Lower East Side shoes so much, I would've bought a pair in navy, but they're not available in 7.5 C/D. Also, at the end of August my shoes cost just under $20--a great bargain!--but the price is now $24.99.Note about shipping: I was surprised that Payless shipped these shoes in a Tyvek-type envelope--not even padded--rather than in a carton. The shoebox was smashed, ripped on one end, and the lid had come off during shipping. Thank goodness, the shoes were still wrapped and intact. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasantly Surprised *by A***Y on February 20, 2018* I really like these shoes. I was pleasantly surprised--I had been checking Amazon for cheap flats. These had good reviews and I thought $20 was worth it, even if they weren't perfect. They are much cuter in person. It has a thick cloth material, the kind that you can scratch and it makes a noise, if that makes sense. However, the main reason for my review is to comment on the size. I normally wear a 7.5--due to many reviews suggesting to order a 1/2 or whole size down, I ordered a 7. They squished my feet before I even stood up.
