Worked, It connect this silcock to garden hose. If they made both part can put ranch to it , that would be a true five start.

This adapter fitting is Exactly what I needed to attach a float for my chicken water bucket.

I like that these are lead-free. However, they didn't last. The adapter that has the two female ends started leaking around the circular rotating ring and the hex-nut body. Tried a new rubber O ring which didn't fix the problem

If you have a water spout attached backflow preventer that is spraying water all over the place, this is the adapter you need to replace it. (That is because the threads on the spout will not attach to a hose.) These worked great and eliminated any leaks. [Legal disclaimer - check your local codes before removing your backflow preventer.]

Leaks between the fitting pieces. No amount of tightening will stop it. Junk.
