Kenwood Bluetooth USB CD iPod Radio, 2-Enrock 2-Way 6x9 White Marine Speaker Set

I bought this package to install on a 28 foot pontoon boat. Installation of any stereo can be difficult, but the manufacturer's provided instructions made the process easy for some one with a small amount of experience with wiring diagrams and audio equipment. Mounted these two speakers in the rear of the boat, installed the receiver with a splashguard, and off we went! Sound was good and can't wait to expand our set up next year. Pros: - Great sound and with only these two speakers music is clearly audible over a 55 hp motor with waves and all. - Bluetooth pairing was a piece of cake and we did not notice a drop in audio quality as seen with some systems - The system is visually appealing - the speakers are beautiful and appear to be made mostly of non-metal components so will hopefully not rust (will update review of that do) - Can't really beat this price for a decent system - Ready to power 4 speakers as is, with two more unamplified stereo channels to allow for more speakers, subwoofers, etc. with an amplifier at a later date. Cons: -ONLY includes speakers and stereo head, make sure you but everything else you need! - The speakers are oval, which makes cutting holes for them slightly more difficult, but they sound great. - In direct sun, the display can be hard to read. However, if you have a canopy, cabin, or a tinted splashguard blocking some sunlight, it should not be a problem. Other information: Suggest you purchase this with a marine antenna, tinned (marine grade) speaker wires (make sure they are coaxial or that you double the length that you think you need for single wires), a way to connect power (16-18g wire will work), a splashguard, liquid electrical tape, and some zip ties to keep things neat.

Bluetooth stopped working second time out on the boat, but that wasn't a deal breaker, still had the 3.5 Aux. But then the rear pre-amps died, then the rear channels died. I've only had this stereo installed in the boat for three months. When it worked it sounded great through the JBL amp and and speakers. Can't review the speakers as I never got them installed. Still looking for a good stereo....

Installed this in my boat. Excellent sound even and easy install. Bluetooth synced to my iPhone easily and was impressed it was loud enough to be heard while driving since I have a 110hp older outboard. Would recommend this package!

Speakers did not last a week an stereo went into a lock out after a month. Not impressed or happy. To me junk after a month an can't return

I don't review products often. This is a winner. The head unit alone is worth the price. You can stream music via Bluetooth or plug in your iPhone/iPad/phone. YOU CAN MAKE PHONE CALLS AND IT COMES WITH A MICROPHONE...what the what!! You can plug your phone in via usb and your phone will charge... Awesome. The speakers are good. I am a speaker snob. If these were paired with a simple 10" sub, you'd be rocking the water. The highs are awesome the mid is great the lows are good...from a 6"x9" they remind me of the Rockford fosgate 6x9's I had in boxes in my old hatch back, it's enoigh to impress the ladies. This is a great buy.

Great sound and easy to install. We had it installed in less than an hour not he boat, and rocked out all weekend.
