Evelyn (Anna Chappell) runs the Mountaintop Motel, a cluster of ramshackle cabins nestled deep in the Texas countryside. Great Cheapo Sleeze
One of the greatest ultra cheapo flicks of the 80s. The cockroach bit is particularly cute, as is the drunken preacher. Not for people who take themselves too seriously.

She never even looks like the cover in the actual movie, and kinda boring

Horrible movie, but I LOVE it!
This movie is just one of those movies. It's absolutely horrible to the point of being laughable. I got it for a night of giggles with my mum. She loves this corny stuff.

fast paced plot armor and cheesy 80's from the start
From the moment I saw Evelyn swing the scythe a mile away and hit her granddaughter...or daughter...and the girl's head went the wrong way I knew what I was in for. When the paramedics administered CPR on a victim of a slit throat to restart a heart that had no blood in it anymore...then leave...and no one question evelyn...I knew what i was in for. 1 Star because it's still that 80's cheese feel. FYI - the maniacal woman you see on the cover is not what you get in the movie...#yawn.

This was a big movie way back when but if you are a fan of extreme blood and gore, this movie is tame compared to some movies of today.
