IE as long as your hub can read a USB stick it can read this. **Q: If it saves fingerprints locally, is it ok to unplug and plug it again? then, do i need to register my fingerprints again, or not?** A: for PCs, I believe it only stores some kind of a secure token via it's TPM hardware, this is all done via Windows Hello / Windows Hello for Business. It should continue to work once your fingerprint is saved, even if you unplug, and plug it back in.
