Good Energizer battery
Good powerful, easy to install akali e Energizer battery for a good price.

Ideal for camping lanterns
I have used there batteries for many, many years in my battery-operated camp lanterns and have very rarely had to replace them. When dry camping (where there is no power), we use them to light up our card table when playing cards in the evening, and also for trekking through the woods to the campground outhouse. When the grandkids are along, they use them to be able to see their games or just safely navigate around the campground. I have never actually used this size battery for anything other than either hand-held lanterns or table-top lanterns, but Energizer MAX has not let us down ever. Fortunately we have never had to use them to change a flat tire or flag down someone for help, but if we every did, we know we can rely on the battery to not let us down.

They're batteries, and they work.
Bought 2 in December 2025 - both had a 'best buy' date of September 2030. They work and shelf life should be OK.

Looks like Ray O Vac has stopped making their 6-volt alkaline battery and it leaves just Duracell and Energizer. I went with Energizer, since it was only one available in a singe and it is less expensive than Duracell.
