Metal Detector Pinpointer - Fully Waterproof Handheld Pin Pointer Wand, High Accuracy Professional Search Treasure Pinpointing Finder Probe

This thing is great! Very cost effective! I pick it over my more expensive knockoff! Things I like: it turn on and off with a quick single press of the button. zero wait time for it to balance or prepare. It is not super sensitive but works consistently, about 1.5 inches for a ring or coin. Sometimes I wish it was more powerful, but then it would make this much more complicated and not as precise. I use this alongside another pinpointer that has a depth range, which makes that one need to balance before being put to the ground and takes 3 seconds to shut off. If I can't find it with my main pinpointer (this one), I goto that backup with depth which goes about double the depth but is not as fast to respond to targets in the dirt! Pick this one for speed! I have been using this for 3 years! The size and shape make it easy to fit in most holsters and narrow pants pockets! Super lightweight as well. It's not the high end Cadillac of pinpointers, but it does work efficiently.

Just something fun to do. Purchased a metal detector then added this. Works as stated.

Product works great.

These are fantastic and a must-have for anyone using a metal detector. The large detector gives you a general idea while the pointed shows you the exact spot where the metal is located. I found a ton of native copper with this on my last trip to MI.

Love it

You can't metal detect very well without a good pinpointer, and this HOMPO Metal Detector Pinpointer does not disappoint. I actually purchased this and a metal detector as a gift for a friend, and he said he really liked it, and it's easy to use and accurate in finding targets. Can't beat that!

I bought this with the expectation that I might need to send it back for not meeting my needs. Why, you might ask? Because I bought it as a tool to help my main metal detector pinpoint the location of gold nuggets. Gold nuggets, especially small ones, are typically difficult to detect with cheap detectors, so I wasn’t expecting much. I was very surprised and happy when I put it close to one of my small nuggets at home and it started to emit a tone. I gave it an even harder task when I ran a vial of small gold flakes across the tip, yet it surprised me again with a tone. It appears that it will most likely suit my needs. I am very happy that I didn’t have to buy the (many times more expensive) name brand alternative. Now I just need to put it to the test “in the field” and see if it detects small nuggets in situ!

picks up a penny / quarter when flat - ( 360 ) degrees - all areas around pin pointer at about 1 1/4 inches . beeps and vibrates when near object ...as pin pointer gets closer to object , beeping & vibration is constant , does NOT increase in intensity !!!built in light VERY WEAK . ad says ( When the detecting probe gets closer and closer to the metal, buzz sound will get louder and louder ) --- it does not ---

I'e had this a few years but only got around to using it this year.. it works fantastic! I have been pinpointing efficiently in every hole. Everything from 225 year old Tombac dandy buttons and pockets spills full of pennies to old farm equipment and hand forged spikes and hand tools. No point of spending $200 on a fancy name brand as far as i can tell.

This unit actually works slightly better than I’d expected. You can draw it along the (timer in my case) material on its side. Or, use the tip as a directional search, and it’s fairly sensitive. You do get fairly regular false readings that you need to, just momentarily, move the detector away from the work you are scanning, but overall I’ve been very pleased with this tool to date.

Funciona muito bem

As per specification battery is included but battery is not supplied. This item is moderate toy for children. It detects gold only from 2 inch distance and steel from 5 inch distance. Efficiency needs to be improved

Very disappointed with this metal finder. It is not working at all. I tried multiple times in different places, but there was no detection or response. Seems like a defective or very low-quality product. Totally not worth the money. Would not recommend.
