Sharpie Electro Pop Permanent Markers | Ultra Fine Point Markers, Assorted Colors, 24 Count

I have been using Sharpies for a number of years now. Every once in a while, they come out with these so-called specialty color packs. Typically these packs are 24 count where 19 of the pens a repeat of the same colors you would have received in their standard package. The difference is that they remove 5 of the standard colors and insert in their place special colors. This series happens to be the ‘Electro Pop” series. In this “Electro Pop” package the five specialty colors are: - Optic Orange, - Techno Blue, - Nano Blue, - Electric Pink, and - Ultra Violet. These pens like their counterpart ultra-fine point pens provide a high quality art work pen. Since I use my Sharpies solely for my pen and ink drawings, I may see the usage of these pens differently than if you use them for writing purposes. On thing that is nice with the Sharpie brand is that the colors are consistent between nub size (i.e., fine point and ultra-fine point pens). However, some of the colors are so close, there is no way to confirm the color without stepping away from your artwork, and doing a trial test. If Sharpie could do one thing, I would love to have them create names for the colors or assign an alphanumeric code. Anything, so I can tell whether or not between nub sizes that the two colors are the same. Additionally, the pen cap color does not match the color the pen is on paper. But after I have used them over the years, I have to admit I have learned which colors are a bit off. In any event, I like the Sharpie;s Brand image and will continue to use their products. When I started out drawing I used Sharpies and I have stayed with them ever since.

These are some of my favorite colors to use when making art or just coloring books. The colors are true to the caps and don't bleed...they are extra fine. I use these and a certain brand of gel pens that are inexpensive but work great (Lolliz). I mention those because ultra thin sharpies and these gel pens seem to work together really well. I use one sided coloring books and either protect the page behind or tear the page out to color. It always works for me because sharpies are some strong color and they WILL go through any paper stock a coloring book uses. I'm so glad that this is a "new craze" for adults. I got back into coloring 20+ years ago with my nana and have always returned to it because it relaxes me. You will get some "basic" colors in these packs but it's less expensive than buying the smaller sets of electro pop or their other "special" colors. It's rare that the sharpies die....So gifting to others is the way to go. I recommend these to everyone! Makes life more beautiful when we are relaxed, in the moment and happy.

I love these markers. They are a really great deal- you get a lot of markers for the price. I use them to take color-coded notes for school, as well as coloring in my coloring book. They are thin, so can also be used as pens. I have been using them a lot and have not had any problems, and none of them have run out of ink after much use! Also a very good selection of colors. You have all of your "normal" colors, and all of the other colors are very beautiful. Highly recommend.

These markers come in very pretty colors. I like to color in adult coloring books and these work very well for most books. I have a couple of books that these bleed outside the lines on, but on other books they work great - depends on the quality of the paper, I guess. They do bleed through to the back of the page, too, but I keep something under the page to absorb the excess. They have lasted well, too. They have a great fine point, which makes them good for small parts of the designs, as long as they're on good paper, at least. Overall, I'm very well pleased with them.

I love the Sharpies! The super fine too makes it easy to get into the tiny detailed spots in adult coloring pages. The ink is full and has not run out yet and I have used them coloring about 60 adult coloring post cards. This pack comes with a variety of colors to choose from and the price was marked great. At Michaels these same pens were $31.99 and even with a 40% off coupon, the Amazon price was better. At Staples the price was $22.99 and no coupon available. At Target they were higher prices than Michaels. So when my husband showed me the Amazin price it was a no brainier especially with the Prime 2 day shipping option. I was coloring within 48 hours. I took one star away for 3 reasons. The purple cap looks like a lavender, but it's a dark purple. The darker green is a deep, deep, dark green color which also doesn't match the cap. So test those out on paper before using so that you are not disappointed if the color doesn't work on your project. The other reason I took a star off is because the colors bleed through card stock, thick paper. I expect them to bleed through copy paper, but not good quality thick paper. So that was a little disappointing. I have another cheaper version of markers from Michaels that has less color options to choose from that are double sided with a fine tip in one side and a thicker brush style tip in the their side and they do not bleed through. So that is my biggest concern. Things I like about he markers is the variety of colors. The ease of putting the cap on and off. The price. The fine tip makes detailed work much easier. They are perfect for lettering art and freestyle design too. I hope that helps you in making your decision. They really are nice markers. I will buy another set when these dry up, but it doesn't appear that will be happening anytime soon.

great markers with rich colors. the nib seems to be about 0.3mm but it doesn't state that anywhere on the description. I got them on time and such a great deal on amazon prime day! The only complaint is one of the markers was dried up, but I got such a great deal and love all the other colors I cannot get too upset about that.

Got these marker pens for someone very special and she loves it. The fine points makes it really convenient to get over those hard to reach areas and it is really good for writing and doodling stuffs as well. It's good to have a range of different colors and they are really long lasting. Make sure it is covered properly after use to avoid dryness and know how much you are using it for.

Doesn't really work on all the surfaces. Can stand water splashes easily.
