Cervical Neck Pillow

I have multiple disc injuries in my neck and this pillow is firm like I need for side sleeping. The memory foam pillows are too soft for me and this is the only one that helps me not be in pain. Please do not discontinue this. I bought one two years ago and was so thankful I could buy again when the other had worn out.

I received this pillow yesterday. Could not sleep on it. It was like sleeping on styrofoam. This is the hardest pillow and I can't imagine how this product passed the inspection line. I have been using an Obus pillow for over 20 years, but have always bought locally.

A member of our household had to deal with a disabling level of pain before and after cervical fusion surgery, after a vertebrae began pressing on the spinal cord. This pillow was essential as a supportive devise. Highly recommended! It even works well for those of us with normal necks (no titanium plate), placed under a regular pillow to creates comfortable support. Highly recommended!

I have chronic neck soreness. At least I used to. After trying several different materials for pillows, I decided to go funky with this pillow. It made all the difference for me. I no longer wake up with a stiff neck and a headache. It works both when I'm on my back and when I'm on my side (where I spend the majority of my sleep time). It's a bit stiff when you're used to a traditional pillow, but if you can convince yourself to try something new for a week you'll like it in the end. It gives, but in a different way than many are used to. I love that it matches my mood with four different "modes" by flipping it different directions. It's not great if you like to prop yourself up to read or watch TV. The only reason I went four stars and not five is that it is stiff and doesn't work well for propping up and leaning into. But for sleeping, this pillow is the best I've EVER had.

I have purchased the same exact model over the years. It is a great pillow and helpful for my neck. It is not one of those horrible memory foam pillows, this one is great!

Gives us the neck support we need. Very firm. If you like firm pillows, this is the best one I have found. Just keep buying new replacements when needed.

Ordered this pillow for my wife since she is having neck pain. She has been using it for about 2 months and she seems to think that the pillow is alright, and the pain during the evening has subsided some, but the pillow is a little uncomfortable. She has had a hard time getting used it. It's a little too hard, and too high. She seems to think that the Foam pillows which contours to your head might be better. Just last night she threw the pillow off the bed and said "this pillow sucks!" Oh well, can't say I didn't try.

I have an Obus pillow that I purchased some years ago and thought I was buying the same product. This one is so much harder than my old one! I tried to sleep on it, even put a softer pillow on top but I had to remove it from the bed. Very disappointed. Will stick with my old one. At least I can use the new pillow case - transferred it to my old Obus!

Works great! I had very bad neck and shoulder pain. Stretching, massage and active release weren't enough. I was surprised when I got this pillow as it's not soft at all. I thought it would be uncomfortable and I was wrong.

In my early 20's I had 3 different people, within 3 years of each other, smash their vehicles into my vehicle. I have a lot of muscle pains in my 30's because of it. I need solid support when I sleep. I used to LOVE this pillow. It's all I've been able to use for years. The last few times I tried purchasing one it was out of stock or massively overpriced. Well I finally grabbed some recently, I got 2 just in case. What a gigantic disappointment and waste that was. They used to be strong and solid, firm and supportive. Now there's zero of that. They're just as soft as my previously overused one. I would only recommend this pillow if you have no special needs.

My chiropractor recommended I get this pillow for my neck pain. I was hesitant based on some of the reviews and the fact it cannot be returned, but I’m glad I went for it. I will say it is definitely firm, and it took some getting used to. Especially if you’re used to a standard pillow. The curved cervical support is a bit jarring at first, but I’ve found it to really improve my neck pain, and now I actually find it quite comfortable. The different height options are useful between switching from side-sleeping and back-sleeping. Give it a chance and you won’t be disappointed!

I had never tried this particular model of an Obusforme neck pillow before, and found the foam to be harder than I'm used to. Still, it is fairly comfortable and is becoming softer with use. I'm satisfied! My Amazon.ca experience was great. Fast and easy ordering and delivery.

I am a car accident survivor and arthritus with a fused neck for the most part. I have bought a few kinds. the first was this type from the store. and it was softer. so didnt keep its shape as long due to the ribbing cuts. later one from walmart. you get what you pay for very soft. to soft. When I first got this style of pillow I thought how will I love it.?? well if you only did 15 min's try again. after a week my neck felt so much better as this is for side sleeping. I tried a regular pillow after for a week. my neck went our day 2 from being crooked. if you have been sleeping crooked for so long. the new style will take a week for your muscles to take the new position.
