Dakota Digital PAC-2800BT Electronic Fan Controller 70 Amp with Bluetooth Control

Installed in my 1969 Pontiac Catalina, Was having overheating issues due to a faulty fan controller. Solved all my problems. Cool features, for example it allows you to run diagnostics test to check your wiring and relay functions. You can customize it to fit your needs for your setup. 1 fan 2 fan etc. You can also do it through the app. Speaking of the app the logo obviously was changed so depending on which unit you get keep that in mind. I spent a good bit of time looking for the app and it was right in my face but being it's been changed I overlooked it. Anyways All things considered Dakota never disappoints, big technology in a sleek compact lil package. Be sure to follow directions and install is a breeze. They cover all wiring directions yet I had to reference a few YouTube videos but that's me being OCD. I approve and recommend this controller.

Works great exactly as advertised but will not work with oem temp sender or oem gauge. The unit is great and does exactly as advertised but if you plan on running a sender only make sure you get their sender or the unit won’t read the temperature. If you have a custom gauge or aftermarket with 6 tic marks you can adjust it to your gauge and sender and auto meter and other popular brands have preset setting for their temperature senders or overall it did exactly what I wanted after getting the proper sender and setting up is easy with the app.

Excellent fan controller. Used it in my Comanche with an XJ front end conversion. Super easy to install, and having the bluetooth function is really nice. My only complaint would be that the bluetooth times out way too quickly. It would be nice if it would stay connected when switching to other apps. Also, if they could find a way to integrate it into the Torque App, that would put it over the top.

Okay. I installed a Lincoln Town Car two speed fan on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 to replace the problematic stock hydro fan. After I bought some real relays, (Bosch 75 amp, two ea) I got this controller working nicely. I downloaded the app to my Pixel 6 and set all the settings wear I wanted them. This thing is pretty much infinitely adjustable. It works really, really nice. Don't waste your time with the Volvo controllers. This thing can be adjusted from 150* up to set low speed and high speed to wear you want it to come on. Spal used to have a really nice controller but they don't carry it anymore. As nice as the Spal was, this one is easier to adjust and trouble shoot.

Just got this controller two days ago. Wired it up as it was simple according to the instructions. Downloaded the app, which never would pair with my phone. Most importantly is I could never get it to program. Followed the instruction to try to get it into setup mode and it does nothing. Emailed Dakota Digital, haven't heard anything back yet. Don't know if I got a faulty unit but it doesn't work. A small red light just blinks in the top left corner.

I have dakota digital gauges so this just plugged right into my existing setup and controls my fan as it should..

This is a great product and has all the features you need to control your cooling fan. Great job Dakota Digital ! I love the Bluetooth app to set up the system and monitor performance while running. Well thought out design. The only improvement I would suggest to Dakota Digital in the future is to use a proper automotive grade multi pin connector instead of screw down terminals. I know it means a redesign but screw down terminals are good for the lab but not so much in use in the field. I expect to retighten these over time. Great product overall.

I bought this to run my two speed Ford Taurus fan. Easy to follow instructions and very easy to customize fan on off temp settings with the app on my android phone. Works well.
