Good quality
Bought two of these for a camper. Easy to install and very good quality. Gives the option to leave the vent lid open even if it's raining, and still have ventilation.

Easy installation! Match perfectly! Allows for air flow with very little outside noise. A lot less expensive than the RV parts stores!

Great option for leaking RV vent
Our camper had a dome vent hatch that was cracked and leaking. We had a Maxxair from the factory on the bathroom hatch with the exhaust fan so I bought this one to match and keep the rain off the leaky hatch. It came with all the hardware and was quick to install. It has the quick release pins so you can pull it off when needed. We've been on a several trips now and even driving with the vent open thru the rain we haven't had any water inside so I'd say this was a good fix. We should have installed one long ago since it works so well.

good product especially for over the sleeping area
the dome vent covers are a great idea. They make managing the air flow and temperature much easier, and should be standard issue on RVs and motorhomes. If the Maxxair folks want to make an excellent product rather than a good one, they would include and *integrated* vent lid as an option. Vent lids come in a variety of shapes and hinge attachments, and only one shape will work with the dome vent covers... something usually discovered during installation. Vent lid issue aside, the Maxxair product is sturdy and large enough to allow a compatible vent lid to fully open. Since the vent cover includes a very fine-mesh screen, you can remove the yukky screen that comes with the vent and have a clean, uncluttered vent opening on the inside. Overall it good quality, works as described, and is reasonably easy to install.

Works great
It blocks out the morning sun in the bedroom and yet keeps the air coming in. Much cheaper then at an RV dealer, plus a 10 min install with great directions.

Great Product!
A simple concept coupled with easy installation. This product solves a problem that has existed for many years with flimsy and leaky vents on RVs. This will allow you to travel with your vent open and obviously will protect the inside of your RV from rain when you have the vent open allowing your RV to vent better. Overall, I highly recommend purchasing these vents. One thing to consider is to purchase the smoke or white colored vents as the black vents will make you lose the natural light you get from the factory RV flip open vents. Some folks may like that, but I do miss the natural light. Especially in the bathroom as our RV has no windows. Again, I highly recommend this product!

Nice Addition
The installation of these vent covers is pretty straight forward. I needed 3 and all of them were a perfect fit for my trailer. I absolutely love that I can now leave the vents open rain or shine and the water won't get in. The bonus is the amount of light they block, especially on those morning where you may want to sleep in.

Black works great in sleeping area.
This was for a trailer I no longer have it was really good. I got the black even though the vent was in the bathroom and really made it dark. It matched everything on the roof. But the black is really good in the sleeping area.

Ordered the black because white wasn't in stocks and sure glad we did. The cover was easy to put on, @ 20 mins. Found with the black cover not as much light comes in which is fine cause it's over our bed. Our vent can't open all the way now due to the cover but I'm fine with that. Have piece of mind knowing no rain can come in and we still get fresh air.
