One Tigris dog backpack lg
I ordered the large and it fit perfectly with minor adjustments. I have a 75lb mixed shepherd and when we go out for walks I carry everything, water, leashes, bags, extra water. I decided to get this as it looked better than others based on the reviews and website details. Not only am I super pleased with my choice it has made a difference in our walking. She stays next to me rather than leading me. I like the bright orange for visibility. The size of the saddle bags are enough for most things. It has been effective in walking and her carring her stuff. The velcro neck and underbelly straps are nice. I put her leash on one side and a bottle water on the other. Seems balanced. It doesn't seem to bother her when out walking. There is no way I could lift her with the handle, but I could hold onto her. It feels and looks like it will last for a while. Haven't cleaned it yet but it appears to be easy. I feel comfortable for her to wear this backpack. She has long hair and it can get stuck in the velcro. The clip looks durable but if she saw something she has a lot of force behind her take-off not sure of it's strength(not willing to try yet). I usually use 2 leashes for more control around the neck. I really like this backpack for her. The extra weight she can carry will tire her out quicker. Very pleased and will put to test this week on our camping trip. Im excited to put it to use.

PERFECT COLOR for German Pinscher
This was a Find which made both of us very Happy! This OneTigris Mammoth Back Pack is exceptionally WELL-MADE! Quality features and well-manufactured. No flimsy fabric - strong and durable woven nylon, with a mesh lining. For this Remarkable Price ! And . . . I sew! so I know Quality when I see it. What sets this Mammoth Back Pack apart from its competition was the comfortably-wide Straps in front of and around the dogs chest, instead of nylon webbing to cut the dogs skin on long treks. The side Pouches are a perfect size, complete with a grommet in the bottom of each to drain collected liquids, from rain or from fording rivers. The MOLLE webbing next to the Handle is stupendous for securely attaching more equipment, and the hook-&-loop on the Pouches is perfect to display various Patches. My immediate modifications included: shortening the nylon strap ends slightly, so they don’t flop, and the bungee cords were removed to serve another purpose. Copper is a German Pinscher. Her Neck girth is 15" and her Chest measurement is 24", (Suggested minimums: Neck -18"; Chest - 25") so I was a bit hesitant because she is smaller than the minimum measurements for this Back Pack. When I ordered it, having sewed a LOT over the years, I knew I could adjust this Back Pack to be a bit smaller as required. . . . . NEVER MIND - it fit ! Before it ever arrived, I talked this Mammoth Back Pack up to the dog, telling her how wonderful her Back Pack is, and how pretty she looks with it on. Fully adjusted to its smallest size, when I tried it on her, it fit quite well - maybe just a teensy bit too large. Despite it was designed for larger dogs, the Pouches fit her quite proportionately. Small as she is, she loves prancing around in it. Shearling boots, bought in West Germany in 1971, with plastic soles & heels, were harvested when the soles disintegrated with time. The shearling was still in excellent condition, and just one piece from the calf, was hand-sewn on the inside of the OneTigris Mammoth Back Pack. Now, the added bulk from the shearling softly pads her lower chest, and it fits her snugly. With the Back Pack on, she is still able to run like the Wind, and to jump over the rear tailgate into the back of her car. And the Coyote Brown color blends perfectly with her coat. She uses this Back Pack as a Trained Service Dog. Buy this OneTigris Mammoth Back Pack with Confidence ! April 2022 UPDATE: This California, German Pinscher, wearing this ONETIGRIS Backpack off & on, while working, for over a year, she attended an internment at Arlington National Cemetery, and traveled on ten airline flights. She struts around when she has her work BackPack on, and the Packs contain her longer cord leash, poop bags, treats, and large "Hothands" body-warmers. Also added more shearling to the front chest straps for added comfort while in a DOWN on airliners. Everywhere she goes in her ONETIGRIS Backpack, she is the center of attention.

Measure your dog before ordering.
Since my dog was a puppy, I've always walked her with a "backpack", so she can carry her own water, bowl, and vaccinations documents. I carry my own on hikes. She's now going on 6 years old and has worn out her second backpack. She's a little chubby so I highly recommend measuring your pup. The recommendation was the large from past purchases. I went to a medium. It fits perfectly!! She it pretty tough on her gear, but this one looks like it will last. The material is strong and durable. It's well padded with mesh for ventilation. The bright orange makes her noticeable during hunting season. This is my biggest concern on out hikes. When I reach for it she knows we're going places, sits in front of me, till I put it on. I think she likes it. I know I do especially for the price.

Good buy.
I was looking to add a bit of weight to my dog to get her tired during walks and this will work. It will also be great for hikes. It can hold a mini water bowl along with water. I bought a size medium and it fits with the tightest adjustment. My dog is about 40 pounds and is 16 inches around the neck and 25 inches around her chest. The pockets are very big with a lot of room. I also noticed my dog’s hair is really easy to wipe off. It does stick to the velcro but that’s obviously going to happen. The color is also a plus. One major thing that bothering me is the strap to tighten hangs loose. I tried to tuck it at the neck like in the picture, but it did not work it just kept falling out. I will have to diy a velcro piece to help from wear and tear or to keep my dog away from it. Would definitely recommend.

Has been perfect for my needs.
Have tried a couple of these vests over the years with my service animals. This has been the best. My current animal is a big white GSD. He wears the XL because his chest is so big. This pack is very stable and doesn't impede his movement. It is easy to remove after fitting it for the first time. Simply unsnap the safety buckle to the chest strap and separate the velcro strap under their chest. Then they just pull their head back through the neck opening. I've never had to readjust the neck opening. One caution, it does get hot during the summer.

A must have for active dogs.
We love this pack! It lightweight, durable, and looks great. It was the best value for the money in our opinion, and came in different sizes and colors. We recommend a water bottle in each side to keep it stable, and now sway back and forth.

Very happy. Will get another if this one ever gets worn out.
I'm using this back pack on a 40-45 pound border collie puppy. I got it when he was 30 pounds to start getting him used to carrying it around. As of yet, at 10 months, 40ish pounds, I've not had to increase the buckle portion. I've been pleasantly surprised at how secure it is even with it not being very tight on him. It doesn't shift around. I will not add weight to it until he is at least a year old but I'm very happy with it right now.

Great Fit & Lots of Space in the Side Bags
This is perfect for our Great Dane. We like to go hiking quite a bit and travel and we bring our dog with us all the time. The last time we went on a big hike out in Sedona we brought her and we were talking about getting her a hiking backpack. I researched a lot of different types of hiking backpacks and this one meant all of our needs. It is very sturdy and well-made and super easy to use. I think it has the best value for the money out of all of them. We wanted her to be able to carry her own water. But now we can actually put a few other things in there as well. It feels like it is comfortable for her and she has no problem wearing it. We are careful to balance it out so she isn’t overweighted or having too much weight on one side, but the way it’s made, makes that easy to do.

Zoe our adventure doggo loves it!
Delighted with this doggie back-pack. Zoe our marvellous adventure doggo wore this every day on holiday on the Isle of Arran. She carried her own water bottle and poop bags (both unused and used) in one side and another spare water bottle in the other side. You need to keep the weight even on both side, but this was easily done. The padded area under the clip in front of her chest was needed. Other products don’t have this which is why I bought this one. It’s a must when running when keeping up with us on our mountain bikes. Thankfully there are 2 small water drainage holes in both saddle bags - ideal for Zoe as she frequently lay down in water to cool off when wearing the back-pack. Very happy with the quality, it dried quickly too. She was always happy to put it on - she’d see it and get excited, knowing that it meant we were heading into the hills for the day.

Good fit, clips seem strong. Held well for our 29kg puller!
Bought the large size for our shepski, he's still growing but this fit perfect on tighter adjust, with plenty of room for him to grow into, currently 29kg. Good quality clips, we've had some before which came undone with the dogs strength but this one has held very well! We still put a secondary carabiner onto the harness in case, but dont think will have any issues. Really happy with the quality/price. Would buy again in future. Update a few months later, this is still in great condition, no issues with stitching and still fits well now he's grown with plenty to spare. Pockets and zip work well, has been used regularly in woodland, a few snags in trees here and there but held up well.

Delivered on time
The product is really well made, we haven't tried it yet but it looks rugged, the only issue is the size, unfortunately it's too small for my Greyhound =(

Awesome
I have had this pack for my senior pup for about a year now. We have received many compliments on its aesthetics and questions about its functionality. I live in Northern Canada where I take the dog out for many hikes in varying terrain and this pack has caused no pain for my senior dog. Even with slight imbalances in weight on either side, the pack seems to remain balanced and centered on the dog — this being said I have no gauge of actual measured weight. It seems to be once that proverbial scale has tipped, the bag becomes rather off balanced. I wish the Velcro belly was a bit more friendly for barrel chested dogs. While I have no issues fitting the harness, where the Velcro pieces overlap I do find some irritation underneath my dog's fur (double coated dog) and have to be very particular about the way it is put on. Elastic sides are great for putting certain gear in or clipping things on like a collapsible water bowl. That being said I find these things are always getting caught and snagged on anything and everything. From tree branches to chain link fences. I do love this harness though, and think it's particularly well made and look forward to purchasing other products from onetigris in the future!
