Very accurate
I had multiple pe's and needed to know what my oxygen saturation was. It worked very good, and real easy to use.

Finger pulse oximeter with very crisp clear color OLED display
(Edit) Had this with me during recent 5 days in hospital. Two nurses checked accuracy, spot on, both wanted to know where to get one from themselves..kind of says something. (end edit) Had this for eight days now. Bought as quick delivery replacement. Didn't expect the quality or accuracy. Simple single button operation. Pros: ยท OLED color display while having a smaller font is far easier to read than the larger segmented LEDs. A big help for elderly with heart conditions that waken them in the middle of the night. Able to spot the numbers clearly without my bifocals. ยท Large square power button instead of the tiny button others have ยท Display graphics can be oriented in four directions, whatever is best legible for patient or caregiver. Data shown in light blue color with SpO2 in larger font, pulse in smaller font. Clear data labels are spelled out in yellow, underneath the data mumbers. A blue pulsating column seems to graphically indicate pulse rate and strength. Small yellow battery indicator. ยท Added feature is a warning that the finger iscout of position. ยท very good shielding of red light emitter & sensor for a more accurate read. Good grip on the finger witout being too tight. ACCURACY - measured by simultaneous readings of same hand, comparing with hospital checked unit. Spot on, identical results. Can't verify objectively but it seems to acquire data a bit quicker than my older tombstone shaped BP monitor. Comes with landyard, soft case with belt loop, and two AAA batteries Nicer design than most units. This stop gap replacement has become my daily tool. CONS: none as yet.

Works great, but it's important to understand it.
The mibest meter give repeatable results, but only if used correctly. My first readings were occasionally crazy, sometimes as low as 55%. After understanding how to use it, I got consistent SpO2 readings between 95% and 97%. It helped to read online articles that explain how a pulse oximeter makes its measurements -- now understand why it's important to keep still, attach it to a large finger, reduce ambient light, and be patient (the meter can take up to 20 seconds to display a reading, because it has to average a lot of data). Sometimes I got no reading and had to turn the meter off and back on. With effort, I could manage to get my SpO2 to 100% by hyperventilating (very uncomfortable) or down to 84% by holding my breath (absolute torture that won't be repeated). I measured my SpO2 while wearing various masks, including a double mask (N95 respirator covered with a home made cloth mask). In no case did I get readings outside the normal range of 95% to 97%. (This is hardly surprising, but I wanted confirmation. Masks have been worn by dentists and surgeons for years. They understand how important O2 is, and they understand how important their clear thinking is to the safety of their patients.) Off topic, I'll add that there is a YouTube showing a "test" that purports to prove that O2 concentrations reach dangerous levels inside a mask. In this "test", the guy puts a GX-2009 meter inside a mask. He sets the GX-2009 to report the lowest O2 level and to issue an alarm if the O2 level gets below 19.5%. Atmospheric O2 is 20.9% and exhaled O2 is 16.9%. If you breathe directly into the GX-2009, you will, of course, get an instantaneous value below 19.5%, so it is hardly surprising that a GX-2009 inside a mask will issue a low O2 alarm. This low O2 alarm does NOT mean the mask wearer is breathing in dangerous air -- it just means that the meter picked up an instantaneous low value from exhaled air. This guy's last "test" shows that the GX-2009 does not read low levels without the mask -- but the sensors are on the edge of the meter, so the meter placed in front of the face will not read exhaled air O2 concentration. This guy should have realized something was wrong with his last "test" when the "test" did not show a reading below 20.9%. All of these guy's "tests" are complete abuses of the GX-2009. If you want to know whether a mask affects your SpO2, then get a pulse oximeter, like the mibest.

Simple and functional
It's simple, but it works! Unlike the picture, it's a simple moving line that shows your pulse instead of a solid wave. Other than that it was an exact match. 3 things I liked about this are the adjustable screen brightness, the adjustable rotating of the display 90 degrees, and that unlike other companies, I was NOT bribed for my feedback. I received nothing for this review.

OLED Works!
The first thing was the price but you quickly realize. When you need a pusle oxemetry nothing else works. Remember lives are at stake here. I use this all the time and Iโm grateful!

Mibest OLED Finger Pulse Oximeter
It was reasonably priced. It comes with a small carrying case and lanyard. Most of all though, it really works. The small screen is easy to read and the direction of the readout can be shifted for easier reading. I was given a similar unit to use at home after being sent home from the hospital. This Mibest unit works just as well (if not better) than the expensive unit Kaiser let me use for a few weeks. It seems that there are hundreds of competitor units, but the Mibest one is "a keeper".

Check carefully!
Make sure you really need and want this device. Make sure it does the stuff you hope it will do. Because sorting out how to return has taken me 5 hours and ยฃ20 in postage and fuel
