Honestly I would have given it 2 stars but as $25 bluetooth speakers go, it's actually not that bad. For the price, this is a functional low-end Bluetooth speaker that works fine, though the whole party/color-changing feature seems overly ambitious for the quality of the unit. Theoretically you can tap a button and get it to stay on one color, but I couldn't get that feature to work and just turned off the color feature. At the default white & black, it really does look like cheap plastic. Well, I suppose that's fair, because the casing IS cheap plastic and lacks any aesthetic appeal.
