Zero Sugar Original Smoked Sausages

Good taste, zero carbs, zero sugar! The price is right too - priced about the same as other brands without all the added sugars, carbs and fillers! I'd rank these in the top 3 for taste of smoked sausages in this style (out of dozens I have tried). I really like the flavor. The smoke isn't overpowering, and the spice is light and just right so that you can really taste the meat. A lot of jerkies and sausages will mask the flavor of the meat with fillers, sugar etc. Recommended to eat within 3 days (usually happens), or you can refrigerate after to keep more fresh, although I think you could leave out for a week or two in the sealed bag if needed, I never had a problem. Definitely buying more. I just wish they were cheaper, but these are standard price for meat sticks, so I cannot take off any points for that. Super recommended!

I'm not a jerky meat lover, nor have I more than a few times in years tried other "softer" processed meat alternatives to add an option into my dietary intake of low carb snack alternatives. Ordered these on a search for easy snack alternatives and ... I really like these sausages! They're tasty, aren't tough-textured or hard to chew, and I like the mild smokey flavor and softer texture. Along with all the other positives you can read on the product page, I recommend these. And if they are really "hand rolled" ... well they are even more impressive.

Good but a bit on the dryer side

I was bewildered by the many and varied reviews for a variety of dried, smoked “portable” sausage snacks. So, I thought I might share with you my experience and personal evaluation of seven different brands. Missing is the Jacks line, as I wanted bulk versions, not individually wrapped. Any of these, included in the picture, I would willingly buy. There’s one, however, NOT in the picture, that I literally threw away! It was inedible, with bits of bone, ground up gunk, and not a great flavor. If you stick to the ones here, you won’t be disappointed. I’ve listed each one, in order of my favorite first, with characteristics of each: 1st-Tillamook Hunters, Thin skin, great smoke 2nd-Tillamook Original Smoked, excellent 3rd-Bavarian Meats Original, slightly vinegar 4th-Cattlemen’s Cut Old Fashioned, has a filler 5th-Iowa Smokehouse Original, leaves a “coating” in the mouth 6th-Oberto Cocktail Pep, a little spicy for my tastes, but a nice flavor Your tastes might vary from mine, and I didn’t test all of the varieties on the market.

Amazing i love all the flavors and snacks they sell, it is a good healthy snack for on the go or a quick snack, good protein and not to much fat and sugars overall i would recommend this and the other products they offer, it is a little pricey but well worth it for the quality and the healthy side of snack and junk food.

These Are chewy with a bit of flavor. The casing is a bit tough and for this I took off two stars . I can’t really remove it . So I eat all but the ends - it’s wasting and Iam frugal. But there is so much at the ends! It’s so thick. Otherwise a good snack on the go!!

Great quick snack if on low carb diet. I carry several to avoid snacking on chips or crackers.

I keep these at work for a mid afternoon snack and they do the trick. They are high protein and taste great. Just a couple work to help get over that slump.
