We are using it in a heavily used shower and I can't believe the amount of hair it is catching. I haven't had to unscrew or clean the little basket, because it catches everything before it gets there. The basket has a lot of thread to it, so it is not likely to ever unscrew itself and fall into the drain. It's not slowing the drainage down at all. It is eliminating the need to clean out the drain. It's going to pay for itself over time. It's also keeping the hair dissolving chemicals out of the environment.
