I really needed this because I cannot be in the sun because of my illness,I was so impressed as to the quality of and the sturdiness of this product not to mention the coating that is on the metal is just absolutely fabulous ... it is not cheaply made as I have many umbrellas and this is the nicest I have owned in a really long time and I'm very pleased about it... the crank to turn this and to adjust it to tilt it to the left or to the right is extremely easy to use and that is so important to me because like I said with lupus it is very hard for me to do anything because of the pain in my body so I was very leery about this purchase because of that fact and was so pleasantly surprised the umbrella material seems very thick very nice it is a little bit see-through in the sense that it does not completely block out all of the sun... yes it shades you completely, but it will still remain bright under the umbrella which there are days that I like that, and then there's days that I don't like that....
