I’ve been really impressed with the Geeetech Silk PLA filament. The metallic gold finish looks fantastic right off the printer, with a smooth, glossy shine that gives prints a premium, almost metal-like appearance. The filament feeds consistently with no tangling or clogging, and the dimensional accuracy is spot on. I’ve had clean, detailed prints with strong layer adhesion and minimal stringing. It’s also been very easy to work with, even on longer prints. Overall, this is a great choice if you’re looking for a reliable silk PLA that produces eye-catching results without a lot of hassle. I’ll definitely be purchasing more colors from this brand.

I’ve been 3D printing long enough to be picky about filament, especially silk PLA, and this Geeetech Silk PLA in Gold completely exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, the gold silk color is excellent — rich, glossy, and consistent without looking cheap or overly yellow. Once printed, the finish has that smooth, reflective silk sheen you want, and it really makes decorative prints, accents, and display pieces stand out. Layer lines are visually minimized, which is exactly why I reach for silk PLA in the first place. Packaging was another pleasant surprise. The spool arrived airtight sealed with desiccant, which tells me the seller actually cares about moisture control. That’s especially important with silk PLA, and it showed during printing — no popping, no stringing from moisture, and no surface defects. One thing I noticed immediately was that the spool looked slightly smaller than most others I’ve used. At first I was a bit skeptical, but once I weighed it, it measured out exactly as it should. My guess is the filament is wound more tightly or is slightly denser — either way, it’s honest labeling and full weight, which I appreciate. For printing, I’m using a Bambu Lab P1S with a first-generation AMS, and I kept things simple by selecting the Generic PLA Silk profile. I didn’t need to tweak a single setting. The filament fed perfectly through the AMS, adhered well to the build plate, and printed flawlessly from start to finish. No clogs, no under-extrusion, no weird surface artifacts — just clean, reliable prints. Overall, this filament delivered on every front: appearance, packaging, print quality, and reliability. It’s rare to find silk PLA that looks this good and prints this easily without tuning. I’ll absolutely be buying from this seller again, and I’d recommend this Geeetech Silk PLA to anyone looking for a high-quality gold filament that just works great!

This Metallic Royal Blue is stunning. It has a true 'shine' that almost looks like anodized aluminum. It printed perfectly on my K1 with zero stringing. Layer adhesion is great and it hides lines well.

I am really impressed with this Geeetech silk gold PLA. I grabbed it on a whim for a Christmas tree star and it ended up looking way nicer than I expected. The color is a rich metallic gold that actually looks like a real ornament, not cheap plastic. In person it has a smooth shiny finish that catches the lights on the tree perfectly. I printed a big five point star with long thin tips on my Flashforge Adventurer 5M and it handled the geometry like a champ. No clogging, no weird jams, and the layers came out clean and consistent. The sharp tips stayed solid instead of going mushy or curling up, and the layer lines almost disappear once the light hits the silk finish. I did not have to fight with the settings much at all. Once I dialed in a reasonable temperature and speed it just ran and finished the whole print without drama. Adhesion to the bed was solid and the part popped off clean once it cooled. If you want a gold filament for decorations, cosplay pieces, or anything that needs that bright metallic look, this stuff is absolutely worth it. Easy to print, looks fantastic, and I would happily buy it again. Five stars.

Unlike the listing photo, the color I received is tan. Maybe real bone can become that color at some point or under different conditions, but this pla is definitely not a shade of "white". The filament itself is fine. Printed well out of the box just using Bambu Lab's profile. Spool seems wound fine. Listing shows cardboard, but came with plastic. Smaller than BL spools; should work in the AMS. Happy with the filament, but it's not the color I ordered.

This PLA was beautiful, no stringing, printed flawlessly. It does not fit on my AMS rods on my flash forge ad5x. It sits on them very loose but it still pulled the filament through and printed amazingly. I printed the ice cream cone part of this print with this bone filament.

The photo - both knob and accent are this filament. This metallic silk filament prints very well. I got the three pack of Gold/Silver/Copper .5 KG spooks. Be warned, these .5 KG spools will not work in a Bambu AMS, and no spool adapter will correct it. You would need to completely re-spool it. The spool is narrow, and therefore the windings of the spool sit directly on top of the feeder. It made a multi-color print a real pain. I should have just purchased a full KG of filament for this reason alone, but I only wanted it as an accent color on a much larger print. If they wanted to make it AMS-compatible, they could widen the spool to a more normal width and then enlarge the center to make the roll appear "full" with the .5kg on it.

Ich habe das GEEETECH PLA-HS Filament 1.75mm in schwarz für meinen 3D-Drucker (Bambu Lab P1S) gekauft und finde das Produkt, im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellern, echt gut. Als erfahrener Hobby-3D-Drucker habe ich schon viele verschiedene Filamente ausprobiert, aber dieses hat mich im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überzeugt. Zunächst einmal möchte ich die Verpackung und den Zustand des Filaments loben. Es kam in einem Karton an, welcher keinerlei Schäden aufwies, jedoch nicht verschlossen war (kein Klebeband über dem Verschluss. Das Filament war sicher vakuumverpackt, hatte einen zusätzlichen Zipbeutel enthalten und kam innerhalb von einem Tag an, ohne Anzeichen von Beschädigungen oder Verunreinigungen. Das Filament selbst hat eine gleichmäßige schwarze Farbe, eine glatte Textur und war ordentlich aufgespult. Der Druckvorgang mit diesem Filament war total reibungslos. Ich habe das Standardprofil für HS-Filamente benutzt und einen Testdruck gestartet. Leichtes Stringing war zu sehen, deshalb habe ich eine Kalibrierung laufen lassen. Danach war die Oberfläche tiptop und Stringing war kein Problem mehr! Es gab keine Verstopfungen oder Aussetzer während des Druckens, was zu einem reibungslosen und gleichmäßigen Druckergebnis führte. Die Druckqualität mit diesem Filament (bei 400mm/s) ist SEHR GUT. Die gedruckten Teile hatten klare Konturen, glatte Oberflächen, keine Blasen und scharfe Details. Sowohl bei großen Modellen als auch bei feinen Strukturen erwies sich das Filament als sehr zuverlässig. Die Farbe des Filaments ist leicht matt, was mir persönlich sehr gut gefällt. Mit Warping oder Druckbetthaftung hatte ich nie Probleme. Das Filament verhält sich gut während des Druckens, was dazu beiträgt, dass die fertigen Drucke sauber aussehen, sowie maßlich genau sind (+-0,05). Die Rollengröße von 1 kg bietet eine großzügige Menge an Filament, die für viele Druckprojekte ausreicht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis dieses Produkts ist meiner Meinung nach ausgezeichnet, da es eine hochwertige Leistung zu einem vernünftigen Preis bietet. Abschließend kann ich das GEEETECH Filament sehr empfehlen. Die Qualität, Druckbarkeit und Zuverlässigkeit dieses Filaments haben mich beeindruckt. Dieses Filament wird Ihre Erwartungen erfüllen. Es verdient 5 Sterne und ich werde definitiv meine Farbpalette, wenn diese nocherweitert wird, weiterhin mit diesem Filament erweitern.

J'ai jusqu'à présent jamais été déçu des filament Geeetech que j'ai tester, et une fois de plus rien a redire sur la qualité du filament, le filament s'imprime très facilement, les supports (si bien réglé) ce retire sans laisser de traces et le rendu soyeux est juste parfait. J'aime beaucoup le rendu Tri colore et les transitions entre le bleu jaune et rouge sont juste somptueux. Pour de l'impression de pièce décorative ce filament est juste parfait et son prix actuelle est très correcte pour du filament tri color.

GEEETECH is my go to PLA but never tried matte but have had some problems with painting prints and Matte was suggested as a good base for painted prints . The print quality is great as expected but with out the shine so when painting the pant actual took to the print rather than "pooling"

An unbeatable price for a VERY good and precise filament! I don't even notice any difference with more pricier competitors. So, I continue buying this filament per set of 2 spools.

I'd call it a 'deep' green and blue. Does good overhangs, isn't saturated when it arrived, does have a large inner diameter so needed an adapter for A1 AMS, good layer adhesion... Pretty impressive 👍
