Save time cutting custom angles on 8"x8" timbers
This thing is amazing ... yes a jig saw can doing the same job but would take 10 x as long. I am surprized on the accuracy and how smooth the cuts are. You will still need to sand the rough cut but what a time saver. I've been using this product to cut 8" x 8" white oak timbers and it sure beats buying that $4000 hand bandsaw. After about 10 or so cuts you will need to retighten the chain (just looses the screw, grab the bar and pull it down tight, and tighten the screw). After 40 cuts like any chain, you should take a file to sharpen the edges.

Tricky fit but worth it.
Iโm giving this five stars even though I had a couple issues. Be prepared for this to not fit a few brands. I have a dewalt saw that is not compatible. And I tried two other cheap o brands before finding a buddy who had a saw this would fit. The cross beam (silver horizontal part in photo) doesnโt quite sit flush on this saw but itโs close enough that I can work with it. Aside from all that. The customer service is fantastic. Might be the best Iโve encountered in half a dozen years. No phone menu. No automated AI. Straight to a knowledgeable human who picked up on the third ring. As for how this worked: fantastic. I couldnโt be happier. I had 8x8 posts and needed to cut a precise dado cut into four of them so heavy beams have a shelf to sit on. This saw was easy to control and made the job a cinch. Between the customer service and how well this worked, itโs worth the fiddling around finding a saw that it fits. Very happy and would 100% recommend the product.

Garbage
Oh boy, what a disappointment this tool was. I was sold by the ads and a few YouTube videos. For some reason, Prazi doesnโt include an extension for the mounting bar for the Dewalt 20v(a very common diy saw) Instead, it gets clamped via two nuts. There are many reviews saying it doesnโt fit, but it does, just not very well. And it takes a lot of tweaking. So, on to the really bad stuff: The cut is very wavy. It wonโt show up on a video but the surface waviness is unacceptable. The unit is flimsy. I mean, it looks and feels good out of the box, but doesnโt perform like it. The chips created build up in the saw, causing high heat and creates so much friction that the saw will torque out. The chain gets very loose and tensioning it is a hassle. Plus if you tension the loose chain when itโs warm, when it cools down, the chain will be too tight when it cools down and will ruin your bearing when you run it again. Also, there is no lubricator, so youโll need to oil it after every cut. Also, be prepared, this will drain your battery epically fast. About 10 minutes of cutting time on an 8ah. Itโs not too bad for rough cutting excess material but if youโre trying to use the for a relatively precise flush cut on a 6x6 or larger, it is definitely a NO. Very rarely do I leave a bad review, but for the price of this, I expected much better. I wouldnโt be disappointed if this was $40 which about what itโs worth based on the above mentioned issues. Recommend using another brand at half the cost. Or if youโre doing some serious work as a professional, bite the bullet and fork over the money for a bonifide beam saw.

Unmatched Service and quality. Thank you Bob!
Let me say that you can not get any better support anywhere these days. When a nice person answers on the second ring, answers your question quickly, and makes himself available for follow-up to make sure you are ok, you think it is a hallucination. Aside from the amazing service, the product is solid, works better than expected, and is priced reasonably. It worked perfectly with my Porter-Cable 15-AMP saw, with less than 5 mins to install and align properly. Well done, folks!!!

Does not fit Dewalt DCS574 without some work
On the Dewalt DCS574 (20V), you need to remove the blade guard. So you have to pop the C ring and remove the coiled spring. It's not too bad, but a hassle. The Prazi will not sit vertically because of the placement of the angle slot. I had to fabricate a plate (1.25" steel bar) to get the chain to sit perpendicularly to the saw base. A little angle grinder, bastard file, and drill work is all that's needed. I used two 1/4" steel machine screws into the saw. Performance-wise, the DCS574 is OK, but you need to go slowly. I am cutting Eucalyptus 6x8 timbers.

Doesn't fit on two different DeWalts :(
I have a new saw I went and bought and a two year old DeWalt, didn't fit either one. Went and dug out a very old Ryobi I've had forever with a bigger bolt than supplied and it fit perfectly once I found a bolt that would fit out of my bolt bin. Cuts good but if your a novice user, make yourself a straight edge to get rid of the wavyness. It's also hard to see a line due to the chips that it throws up and guess that's to be expected. Other than that, it's a great tool to have, was surprised to see a chain adjustment because some of the others don't have one. just hope it lasts!

Makes difficult cuts easy
I looked at this for a while debating if I wanted to spend the money on it for cutting timbers for a retaining wall. I knew I had about 400 6x6 timbers to cut, but feel pretty confident with a chainsaw. After trying to fine tune the first few joints though I went ahead and ordered this for my circular saw. It probably took about 10 minutes to mount on my makita 5007mg and once I got it set up perfectly square it saved me loads of time. It makes great cuts, is a lot quieter than a chainsaw, and was way easier to handle than the makita 16" circular saws that I have used for timber framing. I highly recommend this for anyone cutting large timbers especially if there will be someone with less experience around saws making cuts

A+ customer service
This attachment does work really well for cutting wood > 3โ thick. When itโs working, it cuts an 3โ walnut slab like butter. After a couple of uses, the bearings stripped. I sent a message to their support and someone got back to me within the hour, on a Sunday, no less! He explained what happened, how to prevent, and is sending me new bearings to fix the attachment. THAT is how you do customer service!

Circular saw to Chain saw
This is a tool that requires 110% focus when used. And past skills in circular saw usage. Now to the function from box to saw within minutes following the instructions. Practice before use, a couple of times before the big cut, saw chain and regular blade has a different finish so take this into account.
