We have used Zyflamend for joint pain such as when my husband broke his hip and later when his back sustained a compression fracture as well as for heart health - docs gave him 2 weeks or less to live due to Acute on Chronic Severe Congestive Heart Failure, Stage 3 and 4 yet we are on Year 4 and counting ;-), and we do not doubt taking these over pharmaceuticals and OTC NSAIDs these past few years also somehow played at the very least a minor role in his cure of Type 2 diabetes (18 year battle, no more!! ::happy dance:::). The herbs in Zyflamend are whole-food sourced instead of chemically altering the herbs trying to seek out one or two individual substances (think pharmaceuticals...). Zyflamend is geared towards halting an over-active inflammation process. As the packaging states, undoubtedly Zyflamend can help with "normal tissue growth, breast health, natural inflammation response, skin health, joint health, lung health, heart health, pancreas health, prostate health, and bone health." I bought it primarily to ease the arthritic pain in my hands, but an interesting pleasant side affect occurred after being on it for about 2 months. My blood pressure which had been borderline high for a few years had dropped into the normal range! Upon my next visit to my doctor, the nurse began to take my vitals and I usually sit there waiting for her to tell me that my blood pressure was a little high. Sometimes she'd make me wait a few minutes sitting still and retake it to see if it would drop some. This time, she said,"Wow, you blood pressure is great! Have you been exercising?" I said "Not really. I did start taking this new supplement that has a Chinese herb that is used to reduce blood pressure." My doctor was pleased as well. As for helping with my arthritis, it hasn't been a cure, but it has lessened the daily pain in my hands. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keep on it! *by R***E on May 15, 2012* I was taking Zyflamend, along with several other supplements for my severe Endometriosis and actually became pain free for the first time in 6 years (I had an operation in 2004 that reactivated the disease which had been dormant for about 10 years), but I made a mistake and stopped taking them after about 4 months because I thought the new water therapy I started was what was really helping take away the pain. Boy was I wrong! After 2 weeks off Zyflamend (and still doing water therapy), my Endometriosis returned with a vengeance!!! I am talking about off the charts, grinding, constant pain like I have not experienced in over 15 years! I went back on Zyflamend this week and will add back my other inflammatory meds: Boswellia Extract, Fenugreek and Chinese Skullcap in a few weeks to see if the combo will, like the last time, make me totally pain free again. I realize not everything works for everybody, but I was so fed up with this pain and going to doctor after doctor who just tried to push pain meds on me and told me I had to learn to live with the pain, that I gave Zyflamend and these other supplements a try to see what would happen and they actually worked for me!
