I loved that case but it didn't hold up to abuse. I wanted to try a different case, all white, and must be thin. I saw this one and saw it says it has a shimmer gloss coating to it. I wanted to give it a try.It covers the phone well. All slots are available and working. Grip wise, it does feel good to hold and not slippery at all. However, the alignment is a little off. The alignment for the apple logo behind the phone and more importantly the alignment for the lightning connector is off. While an Apple lightning cable connects to it just fine, I am disappointed to say my Monoprice lightning cable was a tad big for it and wouldn't fit.The color of the case is also an off-white color. it isn't a pure white like the photo. So I don't get the modern look I like. It also isn't as thin and the thickness of the case can really be felt. The "Shimmer gloss" doesn't really shimmer. It's just a shiny gloss finish with barely noticeable glitter specs if you hold it in the sun.The biggest annoying thing for me is when I press down on the power button, I can feel I am also pushing down on the case. The case makes a squeaky feel whenever I hit the power button so I don't even feel the "click" from the button. Sometimes I'll hit the power button, feel the squeakiness, but then realize I didn't fully hit the power button.Overall, the case works. It does what it's suppose to do. It isn't my cup of tea and I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had hands on test of it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2015* I am reviewing my black Caseology case which I have had for about two months. So far I really like it. It comes on and off very easily. It is a "sparkly" black rather than a matte finish (think a toned down version of a diner booth's seat) which doesn't show up well in the Amazon photograph and I like the way it looks. It protects well for normal use and, my favorite feature, adds great grip to the phone. It fits nicely and all the button and ports are easily accessible. It has a good lip to it that protects the phone from your average putting phone face down on surfaces. I have not noticed any scratching on the phone from the case. It does add some bulk to your phone, but any case will do that and this does not exceed what seems necessary. Only negative is that the finish of the case is worn on the back corners of the phone, but for the price that is not too bad. Thankfully, I have not dropped the phone on anything hard with this case on so I cannot review how effective it would be there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great case, amazing material. She LOVES this case and I am very pleased and confident that it will protect her iPhone for a long time.The case is a perfect fit and is very easy to slip on and off of the iPhone. They truly found the perfect balance of ease of removal without it being too loose to the point you'd be worried it could slip off on accident.The texture is very nice to the touch, rubbery feel but solid at the same time. The material has a natural "sparkle" to it which my wife really likes but as a man I would prefer not to have if it were my case.All of the cutouts for buttons and ports are of adequate size and my wife has had no problems accessing the buttons or plugging in the charger or headphones.My wife has the white model.Paid a little extra for overnight shipping through Prime and it was well worth it.
