Quality assurance for the product must be absurdly low, did not perform as it should due to defects. Cheap yes, quality no. Usually how it is get what you pay for. Maybe some people luck out, I did not. As you you can see in the picture, the plastic piece was obviously not manufactured correctly and still passed this companies quality assurance. The shaft on the left easily passes through a hole it should not which causes the switch to jam and not create a connection to turn the pump on. The inside of the same side has a big overflow of plastic which should have made the flaw evident even to an untrained eye. This should not have passed quality checks in no shape nor form.

I was a little hesitant after reading other reviewers report the contacts getting hot and melting the supporting plastic. I'm using this to switch a 1.5 amp circuit which I'm pretty sure won't tax the contacts so I should be safe. There are no instructions but the big spring adjusts both the cut-in/cut-out together while the little spring adjusts only the cut-out pressure.
