Messages from the Masters: Tapping into the Power of Love

Excellent book!! For those individuals unfamiliar with Brian Weiss's books, I can only say that they are absolutely the most amazing books I have ever read. His first book: "Many Lives, Many Mansions," assisted me greatly in accepting a paradigm of reality that I intuitively I felt was more accurate then the Catholic beliefs I was raised with. We really are all a part of each other at the deepest level and as the soul evolves one understands that we are all a part of everything. The concept of separation eventually dissolves. This is a process that we were born here to learn. This is our inner most purpose for our existence. This is what we all intrinsically crave, the complete understanding and experience of what we truly are. When the ego aspect of oneself dissolves then, the cycle is complete and the soul achieves it's purpose. There is not one experience on this earth that is not related to the pursuit of this understanding. We are all here to shed our skin so to speak and become what we truly are. This is the message of the Masters. Reading books like this requires an expansion of ones mundane reality base. Our beliefs and concepts are so based in our day to day world that seeing the larger picture of life is difficult. I intrinsically have felt this from the time I could remember. I just knew that reality as we know it- was only a superficial shell and that we are all here to crack that shell open to understand that all of life is a forever experience and that all of life is ONE. This is a beautiful book that basically grasps messages of higher souls through individulas in deep hypnosis. I recommend that you read all of Bryan Weiss's books before you come to this one as for many of us, this is foreign territory and difficult to tread. But, I would like to add that one does not have to wait for mediums from higher planes to explain this to us. This concept, this understanding blossoms in all of us naturally when we have earned that wisdom. I believe we are here because we need to go through the experiences of our life that ultimately brings us to this awareness and in the process, dissolution of the ego reality into the complete awareness of ones higher Self. We are all a part of each other, we are all a part of the cosmos. It is wonderful to hear wisdom from highly evolved souls but, it is better when you own that understanding after conquering the trials and tribulations of everyday life. Then, you own it. Great book. Highly recommend you read it if you are interested in reincarnation.

It wasn't what I was entirely expecting, but in the end it was better in a lot of ways. The lessons exercises and experiences of Brian are very eye opening and show the truth is all around us. In more than just past life regression sessions.

This is a life changing book, I have shared it with half a dozen people, all agree, no matter their ancestry or the faith they were raised in, this book and the man who had the courage and faith in the universe to write it has put himself out there for all of us. Their is an old hymn I recall, though I have not thought of it, in years, till this moment,recalled from my childhood,LOVE LIFTED ME, from the books of my grandmother's Penticostal Church on 92nd Street in NYCity, those words come to mind on reflection when I think of this book. His courage in writing about something he experienced, was not prepared for, and could have turned away from out of concern for his professional standards and those of his peers, well he just followed some feeling that went deeper than fear and we all can benefit from reading and further sharing this book with loved ones and friends, associates, I did and it's been well received by academics and young mothers, men or women. Since I read it, I have referred someone to one or more of his books each week since. I hope to meet him one day and share my story of several healing experiences I have had no words to explain, or way to grasp that what happened has a reason and a purpose and a clear path of understanding. Once we learn how we are each and all a part of the universe, soul connected, that there is something for each of us, we can then respect it in ourselves and others, Dr. Weiss teaches us acceptance of all the spiritual strengths we embody even as simple humans, each of us is gifted.

This book sums up the revelations and spiritual evolutions that Brian Weiss experienced after the events of his first book "many lives/many masters". In MLMM, Brian Weiss was very doubtful about his own findings and his scientific academic mind was reluctant to admit the possibily of reincarnation and past lifes experiences. In Messages from the Master, 12 years later, Brian Weiss has totally surrendered to the accumulated evidence and now strongly believes we all live indefinitely though different levels of existence. He had no further doubts and though this book he wants to spread the messages he received from spiritual masters who guide humans between the different planes of their existence. Whether one believes or not in his findings, this is a truly astonishing book by any means, with many description of events that are inexplicable other than by admitting the existence of spiritual connections between our past and present loved ones. The book also remarkably proves how all religions are founded on the same bases and relied on transmitting the same messages of pure and unconditional love. I wish everyone on this Earth could read this book and meditate on its teachings.

My reincarnation journey started with Journey of the Souls by Dr Newton and it’s led me to Dr Weiss. This book had so many highlights.. I go back and read them for positivity and inspiration. It’s truly a wonderful read about the energy of love and how it flows through us. We are love. It’s a beautiful thought and idea, one that I choose to believe in as I continue down my spiritual path.

"Messages from the Masters," shares spiritual wisdom and illustrates the power of love. It contains great testimonials and practical advice. The book discusses karma, and the need for souls to keep coming back to the earth for more lessons. If you have any doubts about the continuity of life after death or reincarnation, then this book is something you should consider reading. At the end there is also a nice appendix that illustrates shared spiritual values between different religions. Moreover, the book indicates that only love is real, and that this energy is incredibly strong and that we are all ultimately made out of this love. I recommend this book, because I can testify that it is aligned with the knowing I gained from my own radical and spontaneous spiritual awakening experience, in which I woke up from the dream of the material world, to the absolute reality on the other side. In this awakening I communed with the universal love and one spirit, and everything else including any sense of "me," "I," physical body, or any specific locality had totally dissolved and all that was left was an incredible unconditional love as our ultimate and real nature. This book talked about people's experiences when they were babies and how people felt about them when they were born. People can carry that feeling for a long time, the feeling of being wanted or unwanted when they were born. When I was pregnant I really wanted a boy. I had a series of dreams about having a girl and dressing her up as a boy. In general I was disappointed about having a girl. Once the baby is born there's instant love no matter of the sex. She's the most awesome girl I know. Now she's 4yo, I was doing her hair and she says, "Mommy, I don't want to be a boy" I said, "I'm making your hair look like a pretty little girl." She said, "Mommy, you wanted me to be a boy and I didn't want to be a boy" This book allowed me to believe that she knew this. I said, "you're right, I did want a boy but I'm glad you're a girl. I love you as a girl." She said, "alright, I forgive you, I love you too." This book allowed me to accept her feelings and learn the importance of addressing them so she could heal. My fear or ego, could have denied her feelings and her resentment may have subconsciously grown over the years.

Have most all of his books. Easy read. So much information and insight and just wonderful book. Thank you for offering here. 😄

Very good book for those who like the spiritual things of life, ie, reincarnation.

Good book. Worth reading, as all the books by Weiss I have read so far... I think it was a good thing that I had previously read other books by the same author, in order to fully understand the meaning of this one.
