Not everyone's taste - but I like the smokey flavor ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fine variety of Lapsang Souchong, though a bit less robust than Twinings *by D***B on October 26, 2023* Lapsang Souchong is a delightful and unique tea, supposedly a favorite of the great Winston Churchill. The tea itself is delicate, with of course the full-bodied overlaying notes of smoky pine. It may be somewhat odd in flavor to the uninitiated, but it definitely “grows on you.” I haven’t had the (now discontinued) Twinings version of Lapsang Souchong in quite awhile, but I seem to recall that it was a bit more robust in terms of the tea flavor itself.
