Q: Question: is the "scale"-length of this electric_mandolin really 15.3_inches, rather than the "standard" 13.75-to-14_inches ??.

No, that must be a misprint. It’s standard scale (ie, appx 14”). Warning: the tuners suck. Mine featured one that was DOA. And as you might imagine the bridge PUP can be icepicky—but just turn down the tone. Otherwise a fun little instrument.

Q: Has anyone that has bought this recently gotten a good one?

Totally unplayable when I got it !! Haven’t inquired about anybody else ! Ya if you don’t know how to do a fret level and cut a new nut and total set up you should leave this one alone!!! But for the money it was a fun project!

I can’t answer that I sent my purchase back to musooguitars as it had a fret placement problem that precluded it from going in tune also my hand s were too big for the neck
