Limited 180gm audiophile vinyl LP pressing. Beck's Guitar Shop is the fifth studio album by one of the most influential lead guitarists in rock, Jeff Beck. Together with keyboard player Tony Hymas and drummer Terry Bozzio he recorded this album. They won the award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance at the 1990 Grammys for this release. The instrumental fusion tunes are diverse and on no other album Jeff tried out mixing so much musical styles. His excellent guitar play and the memorable melodies marks this release as one of his finest albums. 'Behind the Veil' is a subtle song, leaning on a reggae groove and Beck's lower register statements. The more sensitive tune 'Where Were You' makes Beck almost sing the melody on his guitar. Terrific Jeff Beck album
Great pressing with blue vinyl. This is the first time I’ve owned this on vinyl and it sounds great.

The vinyl version of Guitar Shop is superior to the CD version.

Great sounding press
This is not the translucent blue press, it’s a straight up black slab and it sounds great so I’m keeping it. 4/5 stars bc description was wrong, but it’s still got a magnificent soundstage with crisp bass and Terry bozzio’s drums never sounded better. Patch in, balls deluxe!

Guitar Shop est un des meilleurs albums de Jeff Beck. Rien que la couverture vaut le coup d'œil, avec de nombreuses références aux passions de l'artiste. Sa patte unique se manifeste à chaque morceau, avec en particulier l'inimitable Where were you, dont même David Gilmour a déclaré que c'était impossible à jouer avec une telle justesse et autant d'émotion. Tout fan de l'immense Jeff Beck doit posséder cet album !

Everything anybody has said about jeff is true a truly brilliant guitar player

I wanted an original but couldn't find one for a reasonable price to complete my Jeff Beck studio collection that I started in the 70's. This copy is amazing. Fluance turntable (Ortofon blue), Teac amp in sterio mode130W RMS per channel, a fluance audio sub woofer and two 200W Energy towers. 🎶 🎵 Very happy camper.
