I have also read in comparisons that it's about the same size (as well as a similar shape) to the Neumann U87, so I guess it would be a safe bet that it will fit.It would be wise to use a different shock-mount, because the Behringer one that is supplied with the microphone is an awful design with thin elastic that gets sloppy and falls off, causing the whole structure to collapse. **Q: Is the inside supposed to come loose after unscrewing the bottom? And is the thing that unscrews on the bottom the adapter? (Sorry I'm new to this)** A: Nothing is supposed to come loose on the inside after the bottom part is unscrewed. The only item that should come loose is the barrel, which allows access to the circuit boards. As for your second question, I don't understand it; what do you have in mind that it should be adapted to? **Q: Do i have to buy an xlr mic cable for the behringer b-1? or it comes with one. just wanna confirm.** A: You will need to buy one seperate.
