Soon after I started using it regularly it stopped turning on. I checked the adapter, tried using a battery, and no luck. I reached out to customer service and let them know because I was still within the 1 year from purchase date ( by only a month ) and so still under warranty. They responded within a day or two and they sent a brand new scale free of charge. It just arrived and works flawlessly. Only time will tell but I think this one will last much longer than the previous. I could NOT get it to calibrate 100%, so I had to spend more money to buy calibration weights of 500g and 2000g. The 2000g calibrated it to PERFECT calibration, but when I put the 500g weight on it, it was about 7g off from perfect. I tried this about 15 different times on various days using 500g, 20g, and 50g weight, which NEVER did calibrate to the exact grams, in calibration mode or regular scale mode. I love the look of the scale and will get lots of use out of it, but wish it would calibrate perfectly with whatever gram weight I use.
