They are definitely worth the investment
Definitely but 1 size up. They stretch and are so comfy but do run small. I have a wide foot and I ordered one size up and wide and they’re perfect. I’ve had mine for a year and a half now and they are still in great condition. I even walk on the cement outside which I regret cause I did wear them a little bit more that way. I highly recommend these for jazz, ballet and excellent for line dancing.

Quality Shoe, Size Up
I typically wear a size 8.5 in shoes, but after reading some of the other reviews, I decided to order a size up (9.5). I think they fit good. Although, I am able to slide a finger in the back, so I do wonder if they would’ve fit better if I ordered a 9, but I do worry they would’ve been more on the tighter side then, which can make my big toe hurt. So maybe the 9.5 is the best compromise for me. I have a slim foot (like the overall height of my foot is slim), so my foot can sometimes feel like it’s swimming in a shoe (top to bottom, not front to back). While this shoe doesn’t perfectly conform to my foot, it does have a nice shape and allows for movement. I ordered the lightest color, which worked for me (shade 17.5N in Sephora Best Skin Ever foundation in their old shade range). Overall, I think this is a great shoe. You can feel the quality of the material and stitching. I’m hoping these will last me several years. I’ll try posting an update if they start to fall apart sooner than expected.

Buy 1 1/2 sizes bigger than normal or don’t bother!
The shoes are very comfortable- ONLY IF YOU GET THE RIGHT SIZE! And by “right size” I mean a full 1 1/2 sizes BIGGER than you would normally wear. ALSO- go ahead and save a return by getting it in Wide even if you are normally not a Wide. (I am typically 7.5 Regular width and ended up with a nicely fitting size 9 Wide) They are extremely flexible and seem to have a good balance of grip and mobility. Just do yourself a favor and get the larger size!!

Fit like a glove and very comfortable
My shoes arrived today and they fit like a glove! I just wanted to update y'all because reading through the reviews on Amazon was giving me a headache. Between people saying they were a perfect fit and that they run up to two sizes too small. My takeaway from sifting through the reviews and product information was that you should buy the size you usually wear, unless perhaps your big toe is longer than your second toe, in which case, order a half size bigger. They will start tight and stretch with wear. I ordered in my usual size and I'm happy with the length. They look tiny when you take them out of the box, but they are stretchy. My toes are a little snug in the front, but going by what other people (and the company) say, they do stretch more with time. My big toe is a little shorter than my second toe and I can see why it might be a problem if it weren't because the top of the shoe is quite round. I'm really glad I ordered the wide (for my wide feet), because they are pretty tight across the instep. So, anyway. These are so comfortable, and light, and give a nice balance between security/grip and slipperiness for spins. Looking forward to trying them out next week! I will update this review if they wind up not living up to my expectations on the stage floor.

Great for larger, wide sizes.
I'm happy with these because they have larger sizes with a wide shoe option. My dancer has wide feet, and it is hard to find compatible shoes sometimes. She was happy so i am happy.

Not as durable as I'd hoped
Several years ago when my daughter was in dance, she had a pair of Capezio jazz shoes that lasted her the entire year of classes and still had plenty of wear left. Thus, when I needed to buy jazz shoes for my son for musical theater, I thought Capezio would be worth the extra money because I could be confident that they would last. I've been rather disappointed thus far. After two rehearsals, I noticed that the shoe sole had begun to let loose at the front edge of one of the shoes (it looks like a sliver of it has now broken off entirely) and both showed significant wear. The photo I've uploaded is from after four rehearsals; I'm afraid that these won't last the two more weeks until the performance. Both the leather and the shoe sole are wearing away much faster than anticipated--and they haven't even moved to the rougher surface of the stage yet. Maybe it's just that the forces exerted by a teen boy are that much more than those exerted by a 9-year-old girl, but I thought they'd look like this after the show was over, not 1/3 of the way through their required use. On another note, you should ignore the provided size chart and go with the recommendation in the description regarding how these shoes relate to your street shoe size. My son's foot should fit into a size 10 (which is his street shoe size in men's sizing) based on his heel-to-toe measurement and their size chart, but the size 12 is snug but comfortable on him.

Would buy again
Wear these for tryouts and they wear so easy to wear compared t the other ones I had bought in person at a dance school

Too small and narrow not even close to being wide width
Stelle regular jazz shoes are actually wider then the wide width version of these capezio jazz shoes - see photo (Stelle on left Capezio on right). I couldn't even get these on my daughter's feet. Stelles slipped on just fine. Totally disappointed in these. Its a crime they can even be advertising these as wide width give how narrow they are!

Well-made, a bit small for my feet
I have been taking Ukrainian dance classes since the end of October 2019. I needed jazz shoes, so we tried Kijiji. Those ended up being too small, and when I tried to stretch them with water, the insole fell out on the heel of one. I needed jazz shoes, and after researching, these seemed like a pretty good option. I'm about a size 9 street, so I took Capezio's advice and I got a size 9 wide. I have pretty wide feet and, honestly, these caused strain on the shoe and pain when I wore them for the first while. However, the lace up ones had a big gap between my ankle area and the shoe, which made them feel loose around the heel. I don't think I'll be buying those ones again. Most sources I've seen say that after a few wears, these shoes will be stretched. I've had mine for two months tomorrow, and one of the shoes still isn't stretched enough to be completely comfortable. I take a 1 hour class weekly and I often practice at home. I don't know why, but the left one is really well stretched. The right one is still a bit tight. I think it might be because I often use my left foot for turns. On another note, the sizing was pretty accurate. I might go half a size up next time (if I buy them again, and frankly, I probably will because I love these shoes.) for optimum comfort, but I don't know. The elastic is holding up really well, and the bottoms aren't too worn out yet, so these could last me for a while. The shoes have a nice build and are pretty comfortable to wear once they're stretched to your foot. I love these shoes even if the leather is a bit tight (For now! They'll stretch eventually!). I would definitely recommend them! Also, because they're slip-on, you can just slide them on, so really convenient.

Comfortable, but not long lasting
Very comfortable- but a year an a half later (using for 1 hour and a 1/2 per week). The bottom is starting to detach.
