I too found it impossible to connect a charger cable, but I was only doing that to update my mod. I remove the batteries at night to charge them. That is a chore. I found it easier to remove the mod out of the case. This brings up a concern - how long will the case last being removed on a daily basis? I don’t know, but hopefully for some time! I have looked for a different case and so far haven’t found one. If you charge your mod with a cable, just sand some of the opening off and like others who have done the same will have no trouble. Other than that, I like it and hope it stands up to being removed on a daily basis, at least for a while. ### ⭐⭐ Wouldn't recommend *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2020* The hole for the USB charger is not big enough. The rubber increases the thickness of the device, which prevents the micro USB cable to make a solid contact. This means you have to push the micro USB connector in really hard, hoping it will maintain a solid connection, or else every time you take your hand off of the cable, it will lose a connection, or you would have to remove the rubber protecter each time you want to charge it. Don't try to stretch the rubber, or else you will rip it, like what happened to mine. Mine is still intact, so I was able to cut around the hole, making it bigger.It's almost as if the maker of this protector did not test it themselves.Update: I was contacted and received a refund. I didn't ask for one, but thanks. My suggestion is to make sure the hole for the charger is wider, to prevent the rubber from adding width to the structure, thus preventing the USB cable from going all the way into the port. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best solution *by B***M on Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2019* after reading both reviews for this item, and considering the cons mentioned in the reviews, I purchased this anyway because this item would solve my bigger complaint about my vape mod battery compartment not staying closed, which allowed my batteries to fall out. This silicone sleeve keeps my mod intact and am still able to charge my batteries after a slight modification of my charging cable tip housing.
