Anyone know the difference between jamo c93 and the jamo c93-ii's??

The difference is mostly cosmetic. Both use the same tweeter and Hybrid Composition Conical Cone woofer, although the cone of the C-93II has a metallic look while the C-93 is black. They are both exactly the same size and weight. The C-93 has two round speaker grills covering the speakers themselves, while the C-93IIs have a single grill covering the whole front of the speaker. The shape of the enclosure is slightly different on the front corners, but that does not affect performance. The chrome Jamo logo on the C-93II is smaller than on the original.

It is for the pair. I’ve just been listening seriously to them tonight. They are amazing. Very transparent.

Why is this 1000$ over msrp? these didnt cost that much when they were new.

It s a highly sought after discontinued item, that is one of the most unique and beautifully designed bookshelf speakers ever made. I still think that price is hefty though. It is up to you to decide how much you are willing to pay for them.

Can these be set horizontally?

The speaker should sound good on its side but the front baffle design curve may prevent it from being able to lay flat.
