A: no high heat doesn't ruin the frying pan!

**Q: Can you use regular metal utensils with it or do they need to be "soft"?**
A: I wouldn't use bladed or sharp metal utensils on it, but the nonstick surface is rather durable. Plastic or would is probably better though.
