I caulked this to my uneven dash so I could easily reach my GPS in my camper. I could not use the adhesive backing because my dash is not flat however the caulking I used worked nicely. If I had to redo this I would use clear shipping tape on my dash area then caulk this to the shipping tape. Then when the caulking cures I can remove this and clean it up and make it look like a lot nicer and reinstall.

The dashboard mounted phone holder I have kept falling off. It would stick well for a while, but then unexpectedly, it would fall off while driving down the road. Moreover, since it actually has good suction, it would leave an indentation on the dash, which I found concerning...that it would become permanent over time. This adheres beautifully to the dash, and it has been over a month since I installed it and not once has my phone holder fallen off. I can't speak to how cleaning it comes off down the road, but when I go do sell it, I'll just leave in on there. It is useful and something the next buyer will want to have anyway. Highly recommend. I got the large one, even though the smallest one would have done the job. Gives me more flexibility when mounting.

Loved these. We bought these to use in our Semi truck. We lost the one we got with our Rand McNally. We have a 7' one. Pretty heavy. This little pad stuck to our dash on the angle textured side close to the windshield. So far (about 3 weeks later) it's still sticking. We've taken the gos on and off of it a couple times (while in. Breakdown status when truck was turned in). It still sticks. I used alcohol to wipe the area down before placing it to stick on the dash and we waited 24hrs to let it adhere the best it could. Love this. The only reason I didn't give a complete 5 stars only because it doesn't lay completely flush. It's barely perceptible and as I said it is on the textured slanted area of the dash. So I'm sure that's why. We're just OCD. But still it works great. If we weren't so OCD we'd never even have noticed.

Glad to have bought this product, because it solved a recurrent problem: the grab bars kept falling off the 3M 3.0-inch discs that were meant to hold them on the shower wall. The new discs are larger than 3 inches. They come with alcohol wipes to clean the surface the adhesive sticks to. What I did was to use the old discs as the contact surfaces and cleaned those with the wipes. Then I pressed the suction cups on the dry surface and pressed the air out and applied the lock... ; my placement of the grab bars was imperfect; some of the mirrored part shows but the bar feels much more firmly attached.. immovable, in fact. Thanks for making the better discs!

I bought these mounting disks to stick one disk onto my porous shower wall so I can attach, via suction cup, a shower speaker. The adhesive on the back of the disk proved to be effective and easily sticks to the wall. So far, it has remained in place, despite the moisture/wetness of the shower area and weight of the speaker. Knowing its performance in this particular application, I have no doubt about its performance when being used as intended. These disks seem to function well. I am very happy with the outcome so far. Great value for the money!

Bought this with the expectation that it would be, at the very least, marginally better than the original mounting disk of my phone mount. Per the directions, I thoroughly cleaned the surface of my dashboard (Honda Fit) with the alcohol wipes and held the disk down for close to 20 minutes with my own hands. It literally slid out of place as soon as I attempted to put the suction cup on... Readjustment wasn't an option as the adhesive beneath had all but disappeared. Fortunately, a second one is provided, almost as if this company knows your first one will inevitably fail. After another failed attempt, I ended up sticking it to my windshield. While it seems to work, it's obviously not where I intended to mount my phone. I find it extremely distracting in that position. It will have to suffice for now, but if you're considering buying this product, don't expect much...

Sticks to the windshield, does not allow the suction cup to stick to itself.. Another quality control issue!! Have to make sure these parts work as advertised!! Not good so far! Ensure they function as advertised!! Evidently, they don't work well when cold!! Tried a few workarounds without success - will contact Amazon support to learn if they have product that works as advertised.. I used a Motorola Cellphone ana Magellan GPS to attempt to make it stick. Not very heavy products. Wish you all better success!! Happy Holiday's !!_

Car has outdoor parking and when sun comes up is where ny car is located, it gets very humid inside since it's an older car model. I've had no success with suction cups and this was applied litterally right away it stuck on the dashboard, I've put my monitor that's about 5kg in weight, went through bumps and sudden brakes and pot holes. It was great, still stuck on my dashboard even though it was applied at a very humid time too. Glad i purchased it. I recommend for those who struggle with hard to suction, non leather, vinyl dashboards.

Disappointed with this product. Had a similar product that lasted a good two years before finally giving up, this one made it to a whole two months.

Works as needed with no fuss.
