Once I had it in hand, I could see that the only protection this provides is a perpendicular force, not a sheering strike which is what most curb bumps will be. This product adheres to the face of the rim, not wrapped around the corner of the rim. This really concerned me. Contact with a curb happens mostly when rolling so there is a shearing action that I think will simply push this protector out of the way. I returned the product and will look for something that has physical protection that goes around both the edge and face of the rim. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EASILY DISTURBED *by C***E on October 21, 2019* This is my original post. I really like this product. I am just disappointed that it came off so easily when I decided to go thru the local car wash. "I like that the process was easy. A tool should be added to cut and push in the product. Trying to push the 2nd rim protector in the grooves of the first protector is very hard on your fingers. Other than that, I am very please with the product." I guess I will have to buy another set if I want to maintain the look.
