Just make sure you’re absolutely sure about the placement before applying the light strip, because once it’s on there it’s nearly impossible to adjust or remove without ripping the light strip. It tears incredibly easily and even the smallest tear can cut off the connection so any lights past that point in the strip die. I messed up on my first try and attempted to fix the strip with superglue, but still no good. Luckily I was able to get a replacement, and keeping in mind just how careful I needed to be, I avoided any tears and now have a super bad*ss, glowing, color changing cane! I get compliments on it all the time and it keeps me from getting hit by a car while walking home from work at night. It being battery-powered and waterproof is key to this working the way it does. I made sure the battery pack would be near the bottom of my cane so it’s not as noticeable, even though it makes the switch harder to reach to turn it on & off or change the color or mode.SO worth the money, only $12 to turn my cane into an awesome portable light show?? I’ll definitely buy these again once this one eventually wears out or gets torn with regular use. But so far it’s going strong with no complaints aside from it being too easy to rip.
