My friend is a small business woman dealing with cash on a daily basis. When banking her takings she was advised that a couple of the notes she had were fake. This meant she was out of pocket to the tune of £40 which she just can’t afford. She also can’t afford to shell out hundreds of pounds to avoid this situation happening again. So when I saw these pens & how reasonably priced they were I got some for her. So far so good. Takes seconds to use when you’re busy at the till. Would recommend.

Not the most reliable method for spotting counterfeits
Used these pens for a while and thought they were great until someone actually paid with a counterfeit note. Drew a line with one of the pens and nothing showed up so we accepted the money. It wasn’t until afterwards we realised you have to really rub hard on the counterfeit note with the pen to get a faint grubby mark to show up. So the pens work, just not that well

Work well, well worth having!
I have used these pens for years after having been given some dodgy notes that the Bank identified. I was gutted to have been conned, and have used these ever since. They are really good value, and last much longer than I thought they would. Highly recommended.
