When we were renovating our home, we thought we had planned the lighting well and didn’t see the need for additional fixtures above the kitchen island. But once all the furniture was in place and the final details were finished, we quickly realized that the space felt a little dim. The extra lighting would have made a huge difference and add an extra decor, but since the ceilings were already closed up and painted, we didn’t want to go through the hassle of opening everything up again, hiring an electrician, and dealing with the mess. That’s when we came across this wireless light switch, and honestly, it was a game-changer. Installation was incredibly easy—no wiring, no complicated setup, and best of all, no need for a professional. Within minutes, we had the light above the island up and running. It was such a relief to get the added brightness we needed without any major renovations. Now, after a few years of using it, I can confidently say that it’s still working perfectly without any issues. It responds instantly, and we haven’t had any connectivity problems. If you’re in a situation where adding a wired switch isn’t practical or you just want a simple and effective lighting solution, I highly recommend this. It saved us time, money, and stress while giving us exactly what we needed.

This works really well. I'm using it with the switch about 9-10 feet away from where the receiver is mounted in the electric box. Installation was fairly straightforward, but it took a little effort to get the unit tucked up into the electric box.

I used this switch for the lights in my garage attic. Originally my garage had a giant pull-down stairway with a counter weighted pulley system. The stairway took up so much floor space when it was down and it was a hassle to move it up and down. Ultimately we closed off the gigantic hole in the ceiling, which keeps the heat in my garage workspace. We built an outside stairway and put in a full-size entry door to the attic. The trick was how to turn the lights on in the attic attic - the switch and wiring is downstairs in the garage. I could have run wiring to the attic but I would have had remove a lot of pegboard that covers the garage walls to do so. This switch was the solution! Easy installation and works great. The switch in the attic works in sweltering summer heat and in sub-freezing winter temperatures. I was concerned that the Lithium battery in the switch wouldn’t work in the cold, but no issues. I installed a plastic blank-off plate where the original wall switch was located. Works great - definitely recommended.

I live in an older home that used pull cords on virtually all closet lights. This wireless light switch was a great solution to adding switched lights to closets, especially in the basement where access to fixtures was limited. The control box, that wires to the light, is not huge but can be a very tight fit if you have a small junction box or multiple wires terminated. On one closet, I had to replace the junction box with a deeper unit (and even then it was a tight squeeze). Otherwise installation is very straight forward and the switch works without issue. If the junction box doesn't need replacing, most anyone can do the installation (just remember to kill power to the light before disassembling). I purchased two and installed one in a greenhouse; a second in a small closet. I do wish the switch had a more durable look and feel. The switch plate looks and feels out of place in my older home with traditional light switches. Because of aesthetics, I will probably limit use to closets that guests won't use. Also, I will probably hold off purchasing additional switches until I see how long the non-standard 12V disposable battery lasts (and how much it costs to replace). All in all, I'm very pleased with the purchase and the switches fully meet my need. With the greenhouse switch, temperature (hot or cold) doesn't appear to impact operation. I may update my review at some point in the future, after I get a feel for battery life.

Lo que más me gustó de este interruptor de control remoto es que resolvió mi problema de iluminación en minutos. No necesité contratar a un electricista ni pasar cables molestos. El switch de pared es inalámbrico y portátil, por lo que puedes pegarlo en el lugar que te sea más cómodo ya que tiene muy buena señal. Los botones tienen buena respuesta táctil y el tamaño es el estándar, así que pasa desapercibido como si fuera un apagador normal de la casa. Un detalle es que hace un clic bastante sonoro, lo que puede resultar algo molesto por las noches si buscas un apagado completamente silencioso. THIS WAS JUST PERFECT. I WAS REARRANGING A ROOM AND THE ONLY PLACE TO PUT THIS PARTICULAR PIECE OF FURNITURE WAS GOING TO COVER UP THE LIGHT SWITCH. I QUICKLY GOOGLED HOW TO RELOCATE A LIGHT SWITCH WITH OUT HAVING TO RUN WIRE DOWN A WALL AND THIS POPPPED UP. I GOT IT THE NEXT MORNING AND MY HUSBAND INSTALLED IN LESS THAN 10 MIN. NOW MY LIGHT SWITCH IS ACROSS THE ROOM CONVENIENTLY NEXT TO ANOTHER ONE. I COULDN'T BE MORE HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT. SAVED THE DAY FOR SURE!

10 years ago I had windows converted into doors on the two rear bedrooms. They open out on to a common deck. I had a motion detector light out there, but it didn't feel comfortable or safe to step out there in the dark and wave hands around trying to get it to turn on. And I really didn't fancy trying to run cable from the attic down through the exterior wall. When it came time to upgrade, I found these switches. I ended up using just the one receiver to control two downlights, and then programmed both switches to the one receiver. Instructions were clear and it was easy to do. They work like a 3-way switch; either can turn the lights on or off. Best, the receiver is small enough to fit in a standard octagon box along with connections, although it is a tight squeeze.
