Other clock brands are mabe newer designs and do not allow this without wires breaking redering them useless. Sorry for the run-on sentence. Clock hands will go counter clock wise and keep time once the magnet is reversed (see youtube videos on backwards clocks). Running for 3-days and so far accurate.Only other modifications were to cut off the plastic nail wall mount and to trim the clock hands to fit a 7" clock face.Very happy.One word of caution, all clocks have delicate gears if you need to line up the clock hands do not "spin" them by the hands.
