It's an even more attractive shade of blue than the iPhone 5c itself.The case fits the device perfectly, while feeling really good in the hand. There's also a nice grip to the case, which really helps. I was worried how slippery and thin the naked phone felt. This case gave me a much greater sense of security.It's also highly functional. Each button and socket is readily accessible while still being protected.I haven't dropped the phone yet, so I can't speak anecdotally as to just how good the protection should be. However, in comparing its design to a case I had for my previous android phone, I trust it. The front edges are raised enough that the screen won't be directly hit if dropped on a flat surface.I chose this over several other cheaper cases due to how elegant and well-crafted the design looked. It wasn't just a big clunky mess or a cheap better-than-nothing case. I can tell Spigen actually put a lot of thought into the look, the feel, the edges, the color, the protection. The price is totally worth it. I have a 4s with an Otterbox (commuter) case that I love, and the lip on that one is higher than for this Spigen, which I got for a 5c. The color is fantastic. Putting it on is one of the easiest things to do ever, which is surprising because its nothing trivial to take it off (I can't say the thing for the Otterbox. It was a pain to get on the phone and is just a little less of a pain to get back on. If I had to choose, I would love for it to be easy to put the case on and hard to take off. Genius. Covers the buttons very well, and is honestly such an attractive design. Has just enough grip for handling needs. I wish there was either a screen cover or a higher lip to help protect the screen. So far, for the past 13 months, this case has done precisely what I wanted: prevented her from breaking her phone.
