14" x 14" Bead Rider Seat

In the summer, sweat is a real problem for long motorcycle rides. I once got off my bike only to realize that my entire backend was soaked in sweat. These seat beads eliminated this by creating circulation of air where it was needed. Also, they are much more comfortable for a long ride than the seat itself, because each bead increases your circulation and prevents fatigue. The only issue that I see is in using them in the winter, as the extra airflow might be a bit too cold on your bottom.

The bead rider is great in the summer time as it keeps air ciculating underneath on those 90+ days. It permits a little bit of movement too which helps with fatigue on long rides. Only drawback is winter riding if you have a heated seat--you have to remove it or you will not feel the heat from your seat at all.

My biggest fear was the possibility of beads being hard and uncomfortable. Not a problem! I'd just purchased a V Star 1300 after 35 years without a motorcycle, and in south Louisiana, the heat, couples with air saturated with humidity, was making rides a sweaty mess. The Bead Rider Seat has been excellent at allowing ventilation in a sensitive area! I've been warned to remove it in the winter because you really become aware of how cold it is when you're on the road when the temp is freezing.

I've been sitting on this for a few thousand miles now. I usually wear overpants so I don't sit directly down on them. I think if I did they might not be that comfortable. However, going through the rain worked very well. My last cushion held water in this will let the water run out from your bottom so you are not sitting in a pool of water long after the rain stops.

Installed this and then headed out on a 5,000 mile plus ride. Very comfortable and helped to keep my butt dry through the 114 heat in Arizona and across Texas. Very happy with this purchase.

I have owned a Air Hawk for 6 years. After reading the reviews, I ordered the beaded seat. First of all, the attachment straps are worthless. Second, the seat adds no comfort in my opinion. It might be cooler but I can't feel it at 95º. It also does not seem to fit the seat as shown in the picture. Save your money.

Really help keep circulation under your seat
