Here is what I did. My hinges have a lock clip built in but it's a very small. So how I did it was I removed one hinge at a time and I started by smashing the pin flat then I folded the hinge close and i used the old hole as a guide then using a 3/8 drill bit to mark the other side. After it was marked I used a larger drill bit to drill a hole. Not easy to install and is too bulky for interior/exterior doors. This looks like it was made for metal doors as the pins are HUGE to the point where they don't make much sense for home use. I'd recommend trying other available products first and reviewing the sizes if available.
