So when I fired up my new edger and only got halfway down one side of the driveway before the freshly charged 2 aH battery ran out of power I was stumped. Fortunately, other reviewers mentioned having the same experience, and the solution: a bigger, more powerful battery for tools like the edger that draw lots of juice. So I bit the bullet and ordered this 9 aH beast, and what a game changer! Now I can edge the whole driveway, the sidewalk that runs the length of our lot, and the curb that runs the entire perimeter of our property…then swap the same battery out into the blower, and blow all that dirt and grass off the driveway and sidewalk, with power to spare. This battery may be the best lawn care purchase I’ve made—it’s given all my other Ryobi tools a new life, and made yard work so much easier and less frustrating.
