These frames are definitely worth the money but I can see how others may have had issues with them being flimsy. Loading the front of the frame by removing the glass pane could present some issues but I was able to put my art into all 6 without breaking a single pane. The trick is to make sure you're keeping the pressure to the corners while also slightly pulling the frame outward so the glass can lock into place. Do one corner at a time and only press lightly with your thumb. Being rough with these frames will definitely result in a broken product. Otherwise they look phenomenal on my wall, are minimalistic around the edges so I can fully appreciate my art prints and came (for the most part) fully intact with clean glass and perfect frames. There was a very small scratch on the inside of one pane of glass but it's hardly noticeable so I still think these frames were 100% worth it.

Well packaged/ protected. All the glass was perfect - no scratches, chips or too rough edges. Easy to remove the glass by following directions and doing it corner by corner. My 8 1/2 x 11 posters fit perfectly into frames along with the included black backing. The glass easily clicked back into place over posters - I slid the top in first and settled the glass down over the poster. Although light weight frames, they are not too flimsy or fragile. Obviously, you are not going to put anything too heavyweight into these kind of frames. These are a gift. I am not going to hang them, so I can’t speak to that. For what I wanted to frame, the quantity, price and style was suitable, and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

This was exactly what I wanted. Sturdy acrylic back/frame with glass front. Easy to insert photo. Minimalist look with decorative corners. Can be hung vertically or horizontally. Also has attachment for surface display.

I bought this set for some autographed celebrity pictures. The price is right and I like the front loading feature. They were easy to open and I appreciate the solid black backing sheet included so my pictures were not directly up against the plastic support pieces of the rear of the frame. For me, it was a plus to have real glass versus the usual plastic. Now, I expected to need to wipe away any fingerprints or dust from packaging, but the loss of the star comes from a small, about 5mm, scratch on five of the six glass panels. I always use cotton gloves when handling such items and a micro-fiber towel for any needed cleaning. As I held each up to a bright light for cleaning, that small scratch was visible. It was very nearly in the same location on each of the five so perhaps there was some small flaw in the cutting process that carried through on each? Just a guess. Anyway, I rotated it as best as possible to have a minimal visual impact on each picture. I don't think anyone looking at them will notice...but I know they are there. LOL The other reason for the loss of a star comes from the frames. Do not get me wrong, they are absolutely sturdy and will probably out last me, but I did notice as I was removing the glass and then inserting the picture and the glass again, that along that inner edge, the material was not perfectly smooth and ever so slightly would make both picture and glass snag. Now, I always move slowly and check for fit and finish so it was not a problem - nothing was torn or cut, etc. But if someone else was in a hurry, maybe their outcome would be different? OK, I'll accept being thought of as nit-picking. But I wanted to mention it as it could be a small potential issue for someone else. Overall, the small scratch on those five (The sixth one had a flawless glass piece) has more impact for me. Still, I am happy with these and will buy them again when I have more pictures to frame.

Update: After I left an unimpressed review, the company reached out to me and offered to refund or replace the frames. I chose the replacement, and as I was in the process of returning all the extras that I had received, there was a time that I had four sets of frames in my office when I had ordered one. So the broken frame is replaced and I have spares, and thank you very much! Therefore my review is changed from 2 stars to 5. I bought these to display some lists on the wall for use by the church congregation, as the lists had previously been taped to the wall and this would look a lot nicer. They were delivered by the post office on Sunday, and when I came in on Monday I couldn't find them. I couldn't contact the post office on Monday so I contacted Amazon on Tuesday and they refunded the order so I could reorder it, and I had the order by Thursday. Yay! A star for that. I opened them and set them up, and one of them has a defect in the glass and another had a chip in the corner, so minus two stars for that. Now it's the next day and one of them keeps falling off the wall, and the frame has broken on the bottom and I had to tape it back together. Fortunately it's on the bottom where it doesn't show, but now I'm worried that it won't even last until Sunday. And I need all six of them, that's why I ordered the six-pack. I'm down to two stars, I'm not very happy with them anymore. Also, while I was writing this, one of the fellows here found the original package that was delivered on Sunday that I couldn't find, so I'll deal with returning that one next week, and thank you to Amazon for their great service (just please treat your employees better), but the quality of the frames is still questionable.

Well made, definitely a good value for the money. One problem I had was that I had to trim my 8x10 prints in order for them to fit properly without wrinkling. I think paper expands with humidity so maybe in a dry climate they would be ok but just a tiny bit more allowance would be better. If you're only doing a few of these it's worth your time to trim your prints manually. Also the glass was kind of dirty so I needed to clean that. There is only paper backing so your print may buckle. I replaced the paper backing with a heavier card stock; not too heavy or the glass won't snap in properly. All done, it looked nice.

Excellent frames for photos or art work! The Mantello frames are sturdy, well packaged to avoid damage, and easy to use. The clarity of the glass is very good. I have bought these frames in several different sizes. The smaller ones I use to frame my watercolor Christmas cards and give as gifts, I’ve done this for several years now. The larger ones I use for my other photos and watercolors. I keep buying them as I paint more, and I haven’t been disappointed yet. I wish the black frames were still available. They add to the finished look of the art within.

Son sencillos, ligeros y se ven bien. Sólo de pronto siento que si sin querer les doy un golpe podría venirse el vidrio, es raro que el vidrio se ponga por encima (siempre pones la foto por detrás), pero es sólo la sensación me parece, porque si hace un buen click cuando pones el vidrio sobre la foto.
