Seems well made... the black part is a hard plastic shell, the red parts are all silicon. This is my first smart phone, and thus my first case for one, but I don't feel any need to go see what others are like. The style is attractive, the silicon provides a sure grip, as well as good coverage of ports (mini RCA headphone, and micro-USB). The buttons remain clearly marked, and press easily. The screen protector has worked very well.Why only four stars? Two things: first, getting the case on was a little challenging because the silicone part didn't want to pull out into place at the top front (not easy to explain), but I'd guess that's necessary to get the snug fit. More importantly, there were no instructions (except a poor Ikea-style pictorial instruction) on how to apply the screen protector. You'll likely have no problem if you've had a smart phone (and used a screen protector) before, I'm guessing. And Trident *was* so kind as to provide an instructional video via a QRcode, but my phone was fresh out of the box, and I hadn't had time to figure out what QRcode scanner I wanted to download and use.Overall, a 4.5 star product, and one that I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars does the job well *by M***2 on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on October 6, 2012* I had to find a case on-line for my phone because all they had was pink at RadioShack where I purchased my phone and signed up for Virgin Mobile. I am very pleased with the case- except for the slight size increase, which I should have expected. However, it does the job, silicone to give a soft cushion & hard plastic so it's a bit easier to slide into pockets, etc. However, it doesn't slide it as easily as I had hoped- I can't get my phone into my phone wallet with this case on. That is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5...great case, a little bigger than I expected. I've dropped it sooo many times in the last year and it still looks great. Only one small crack on a corner, when I really slammed it.Dislike: The screen protectors were terrible, so I used another brand. One corner of the soft shell is always a little puckered under the hard shell. No matter how I readjust, there's always a tiny bulge hanging out. Not bad, but could be better.The cover for the charging port had to go! It was a mess and never stayed put.
