A real steal, these are nice!
I have purchased 4 of these tables, and am completely happy with them for the price paid. Really, I consider them a total steal. I bought a pair of the dark brown/black/espresso colored ones about a year and a half ago to serve as end tables by the couch in my living room. They look nice, and we have had no issues with quality or functionality, so when it was recently decided that new nightstands were needed by a bed, a pair of white tables were ordered. In both locations, we wanted decent looking but didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars each. End tables and night stands at real furniture stores easily reached up in to the hundreds of dollars per unit range, so we decided to expand our search. We checked the more “quirky” and discount-oriented home goods stores and, to be frank, the offerings looked like junk. There is a Big Blue Emporium Of Swedish-Designed Goods And Meatballs (you know what place I’m talking about) located in our town, so we checked there. We found something acceptable looking and reasonably priced, but still there was a nagging doubt. “Let’s check Amazon” we thought. And so we did. And here we are. All 4 tables arrived in fine flat-pack condition. Nothing was dinged or damaged, no missing pieces, nothing troubling to report. All pieces are made of real wood, not fiberboard or particle board or cardboard, like products from that other place we had considered. The benefit of having real wood is that it glues up nice, and if you have any scratches, it’s relatively easy to repair. The directions are simple, but sensible and easy to follow. With this sort of furniture, I always glue pieces together in addition to the screws just to add a bit of strength to the whole thing. Everything went together fine, and fit properly. The door was already assembled within the face frame, so no adjustment or fitting was needed. As for colors/ finishes: We are very happy with the coloring and quality of finish of these. The espresso color is a very deep brown/black that is evenly applied over the whole unit, no “splotchiness”. These tables, despite our best efforts to prevent it, regularly get drinks placed on them without coasters, and there are spills, and we have yet to see any rings or other defect appear in the surface finish. The white tables are a smooth flat-ish white paint (which is what we wanted), not a stained white-wash. I had one spot (about the size of a paper clip) on one of the white tables where the finish was a little marred. It wasn’t a scratch or damage, it just looked like the paint hadn’t been applied quite right. I had some paint on hand that matched just right, and a light touch-up made it disappear. I’ve only got a couple of things that I would list as “cons” though they aren’t deal-breakers, nor are they enough of a problem to cause me to lower my rating. I mean, let’s be real and recognize that when you’re only spending fifty dollars for a piece of furniture to be delivered to your house, it’s probably not going to have the same quality as a piece that is hundreds of dollars more expensive. You should know going in to the deal that you’re making a compromise somewhere. Anyhow, my “cons”: -The bottom of the unit is a thin piece of plywood that is simply laid on the frame. It is not fastened in place, and it “floats” around a bit. Also, it doesn’t strike me as overly-sturdy. It’s not like you’re going to keep your barbells or encyclopedias in there, but it’s a weaker part of the construction that I thought would be helpful to point out to people. If I were worried about it, it could easily be glued/nailed into place, but I haven’t found a practical issue with it. -The door’s orientation isn’t easily switched. If you want to switch it so that the hinges are on the left instead of the right, you are going to have to do a little wood-work, it’s not a simple flip-flop. This may be a deal-breaker for some people, but it hasn’t really bothered me in use. Again, I thought it would be helpful to point this out to people. At the end of the day, I can say that I am very happy with these units. I’ve had them long enough that I think I’ve given them a decent real-world trial, and they are something I would buy again (and I have!), and recommend to others.

A good nightstand at an affordable price.
This nightstand is good for someone that is looking for a simple and affordable option. It is quite a decent nightstand that does its job but does not exceed expectations. First off, the materials are not made up of the finest pieces of wood. The pieces are quite thin and seem fragile. When I was assembling it, I was afraid of being too rough with them and accidentally breaking them. The piece of wood that goes in, as the front of the drawer, seemed as if it was peeling and deteriorating in the bottom corners. This was very concerning when I first began the assembly process, especially since that was a piece that would always be exposed. Luckily, after fully assembling the stand, I realized that the peeling parts weren’t too noticeable. On the other hand, the assembly was not too difficult. I had to stop halfway through the assembly and then continued it a few hours later and I was able to pick it back up easily. The only complaint I have about the assembly is that none of the parts were labeled. This sometimes made the assembly confusing and bothersome. Some parts do seem similar, but they can sometimes be different sizes or just different parts altogether. I managed to assemble different parts of the nightstand incorrectly which became frustrating. However, those problems could easily be fixed by labeling the components of the nightstand. So far, the nightstand has held up well. Once fully assembled, it is quite sturdy. I have placed a multitude of items on it and it has not shown any signs of giving out. It has not received any scratches or signs of damage at all. I have younger siblings that have spilled liquids on it and I was able to wipe everything off without any problems. No matter what material they have poured on the nightstand, it has not received any permanent damage. It is impossible to notice that anything has been poured on it once it has been cleaned up. For the two months that I’ve had it, it has held up well and I haven’t encountered any major issues with it. Initially, the drawer and the cabinet both initially gave me a concern. Once the drawer is fully pulled out, it begins to sag. This is one of the flaws that the nightstand has and one of the places where it is evident that some corners were cut. It is not a big deal to me as I rarely ever must pull out the drawer completely, but it is noticeable that the drawer is not well made. Nonetheless, the drawer houses whatever I need without any concern of it not holding up. On the other hand, the piece of wood holding up the items stored in the cabinet could be concerning. Most of the pieces of wood had a place where you would squeeze it into and then secure it with a screw, that is not true for the bottom piece. It is a very thin piece of wood and is not secured in any way, besides sitting on top of the inner edges of the frame of the nightstand. To me it is not a big deal as it only stores my video games and movies. However, I would not recommend storing anything heavy within there as it is difficult to guarantee that the thin piece of wood would be able to hold it. To reiterate, do NOT store your favorite bowling ball in the cabinet. The Winsome accent table is a good bargain. Although not the highest quality, it gets the job done and does not cause any problems. At this price range there is not much more that one could ask for. It is not heavy duty, but it should not be expected to be. Regardless of its more budget-friendly materials, it still makes for a great looking nightstand that should last for a fair amount of time.

You won’t be sorry!!
Last year I bought 2 of these for a bedroom where we didn’t have a lot of space. A couple of days ago I ordered another one for the guest room. I love everything about them. Design, wood color, easy to put together, sturdiness.

Great quality for the price!
This unit is very well manufactured and assembly was very easy. The only issue I encountered was that that the pre-drilled holes on the back panel did not align with the tabletop on the first side I tried, but fit perfectly when I tried the other side of the tabletop. Solid unit and it was well packaged. I used a small amount of wood glue on the wood plugs to be sure they stayed in place. Overall a great nightstand!

Works and looks exactly as advertised with the exception of one important detail...
THE ISSUE: The nightstand came with two door knobs and two screws specifically meant to secure those knobs. Everything in the setup was acceptable except the guiding hole made in the drawer was not made deep enough for the screw to connect to the door knob on the other side. The door knob would just fall right off. I could DIY the hole so that it becomes deep enough for the screw to come out the other end but I don't want my furniture to already look damaged on the day that I buy it (or ever for that matter) and I shouldn't have to go through that work to begin with. For me, as the customer: it should just be assembly, not production AND assembly. And I checked, both knobs are the exact same size and label while both of the matching screws are the same size and label so there was no chance of an accidental mix-up on my part. So how did I solve this? I didn't. Cause I don't want the damaged look. I'd rather be missing a knob. Although now I have to open the bottom door and push the drawer out from inside/underneath in order to open it. EASE OF ASSEMBLY: would be 4 out of 5 stars but it's 1 because of the door knob issue. It assembles just like any other frustrating home assembly furniture. And yes, if you build it alone, it will be frustrating to assemble even if everything works out of the box. That's just the norm, sometimes partly because of the nature of the product and not always solely because of the manufacturer. With the exception of the useless knob, this wasn't more annoying than the average at-home assembly job though I do think the assembly could be easily improved so I'd give it a 4 if the door knob worked instead of a 5. STURDINESS: 5 out of 5 stars. Weight limit, sturdiness, stability, etc., isn't top of the line but I imagine it's more than enough for most peoples' needs and great for the price. That simple. STORAGE CAPACITY: 5 out of 5 stars. It's a nightstand. It won't store a lot. But I was worried it would store hardly anything. Storage size is a little more than I imagined while also being the perfect height for my bed; in fact, it's almost perfectly level with the surface of my mattress. OVERALL: I would likely change my overall rating from 3 to 4 or maybe even 5 if it wasn't for the door knob. Great for the price if it all works, and most of it works, but the one thing that doesn't is pretty huge.

Piece of garbage
I purchased these nightstands over a year ago. I wasn't going to write a review but after how awful they have been I decided would warn people if I could. The expression is "Buy cheap, buy twice". It has never been truer than with these pieces of garbage. I've been putting furniture together since I was a kid and didn't have any trouble assembling these. They looked okay, but they felt flimsy and weak. Over time they developed problems. If you rested a cup on the top for even a few minutes, you would get marks and bubbles. The door wouldn't always close correcatly but the drawer is the worst part. No matter how careful we were, the drawers would often get stuck. Last night I put my glasses in my drawer like I always do before bed and woke up with my drawer sealed shut. We tried everything to get the drawer open. My husband had to finally come in and absolutely demolish the cabinet just to retrieve the glasses. I'm going to take my time and find tables that are durable because I don't want to have to replace them every year or so. I wouldn't take furniture from these people if it was a gift. Stay away. You'll be glad.

Have some wood glue handy.
I bought (2) of these end tables mainly because they matched the color of my new bed and had an appealing design thus the reason I gave them a 4 star. That said had I bought these expecting a high degree of craftsmanship and durability my rating would be much lower. To start the wood used to make up the top drawer is at best 75% extremely brittle cheap pressboard (possible 100%, not sure what exactly what the front board is made out of.) So much so when you simple follow the directions and screw the provided wood screws into said board they immediately crack apart. Now I don't plan on using these for more then a couple books and a lightweight bedside lamp so I just gave it a good coat of heavy duty wood glue with a couple of drops in the now stripped screw holes for good measure and called it a day. The top drawer dosnt have any rollers or metal tracks to glide on and is prone to tipping forward when almost fully extended putting stress on the already very weak connection so I would caution putting anything more then say a watch and wallet or maybe a pad of paper and a few pens in there. The sides and bottom panels are fairly thin however if your not moving this thing around constantly it shouldn't be a problem. All that said the unit does look very nice and the top is much thicker and far more durable then all the other pieces was able to put it together in about 20 minutes with a ranching screw driver and the aforementioned wood glue. In conclusion I would say if these tables are at the higher end of you budget you might be disappointed but if they are the "cheaper" option for you, your probably going feel like you got your money's worth.

Great piece for the price
Not the best quality cabinet out there, but for the price you can definitely not go wrong. I got this expresso color cabinet mainly to hide my modem, which fits perfectly: Pros: •Simple to assemble: took me 20 minutes. Instructions are well written •The color was as expected: Dark fake wooden look •Looks nice, as long as you dont take a closer inspection... •Professionally package with lots of foam Cons: •Feather light material: nice and easy to carry around but it shows how cheap it is •Fingerprints shows easily •Some wood pieces came in with a dust like white substance which I had a hard time to remove Conclusion: If you are looking for a cabinet that looks halfway decent and you simply want to fill in a room this might be the one. Cheap quality but the price makes sense. Great way to hide a router or modem. But if you are looking for an “accent” piece of impeccable quality with lots of room, please skip this product. Still, definitely worth 5 stars.

Impressive sturdiness in a flat pack nightstand
I desperately needed to replace an old nightstand in a secondary bedroom. I simply refused to pay what local furniture stores were wanting for what I liked and what I needed in the stand. As it doubles as a craft room, a doored storage such as this one has was exactly what I was looking for. The only thing missing with this one is I do wish there was the option for an interior shelf to increase the storage ability in that doored section. The stand came with instructions that were well laid out and easy to follow. I put it together in about a half an hour after spending approximately 10-15 minutes reviewing and laying out the various pieces. The pieces fit together with no misalignments or struggles which was impressive and appreciated. Highly recommend this stand as a super value in my opinion!
