Only the Kinesis Advantage keyboards use Mechanical Cherry key switches. -ErgoWarehouse-We are however developing a mechanical, fully programmable version of the Freestyle keyboard called the “Freestyle Edge”. The gaming model will have backlit keys while the office version will not. Neither will be Bluetooth however and will be USB keyboard devices (this is necessary for the programming features). As a fast touch typist is this really an issue? And what is the preferred BT dongle?** A: I'm not a fast typist (maybe 30 - 40 wpm), but I've never had any issues with key strokes being delayed in any measurable way. The BT dongle is probably a more important decision (if your PC does not have BT). I use Windows 10, and every so often (every few months) the BT loses the keyboard. I go into settings, turn BT off, on. Rediscovers keyboard, and continue on.
